ERA-TAC GEN-2 Adjustable Inclination mount, 30 mm, lever

• Adjustable 0-70 MOA inclination: The mount adds elevation in 10 MOA steps, helping long-range shooters keep more turret travel in reserve and extend usable distance without changing the riflescope.
• GEN-2 lever system: The lightweight lever clamp gives fast attachment and removal on a Picatinny rail while supporting repeatable return to zero for rifles that share optics or travel often.
• 30 mm one-piece design: A rigid one-piece layout keeps the scope aligned across both rings, which supports consistent tracking and dependable mechanical stability under recoil.
• Tapered hinge joint and self-locking inserts: These construction details help the mount stay tight and play-free, reducing the chance of shift after repeated firing, transport, or adjustment.
• Hard-anodized aluminum construction: The aluminum body keeps weight manageable while the black anodized finish improves surface durability for field, duty, and range use.

About the ERA-TAC Adjustable Inclination Mounts Series

ERA-TAC Adjustable Inclination Mounts sit in the brand’s tactical one-piece mount range and are built for shooters who need more elevation than a riflescope alone can provide. The defining feature of the series is its adjustable forward inclination, available in MOA versions from 0 to 70 MOA in 10 MOA steps, allowing the shooter to tune the setup to cartridge, distance, and optic travel. That makes the series especially relevant for long-range and precision shooting, where preserving internal adjustment can be as important as the scope itself.

The series uses a mechanical layout designed for repeatability and stability. Self-locking thread inserts secure the bolted connections, while a tapered hinge joint links the upper and lower sections with a play-free fit. A practical advantage of the design is that the inclination can be changed while the mount and riflescope remain on the rifle, which simplifies setup changes in the field or on the range. Generation 2 variants are offered with either a lightweight lever or a nut system, giving users a choice between faster rail handling and a more conventional clamp style.

About the ERA-TAC GEN-2 Adjustable Inclination mount, 30 mm, lever

The ERA-TAC GEN-2 Adjustable Inclination mount, 30 mm, lever is a one-piece tactical scope mount built for shooters using 30 mm riflescopes on a Picatinny rail who need additional elevation for long-range work. Its key advantage is the 0-70 MOA adjustment range, which lets the rifle and optic combination be tuned to the trajectory of the cartridge instead of forcing the shooter to rely only on the scope’s internal travel. In practice, that means more usable elevation for distant targets and a better chance of keeping the optic near its preferred adjustment range.

This version uses the GEN-2 lightweight lever clamping system, which suits rifles that are transported with optics removed or setups where the same optic may be moved between compatible platforms. The lever arrangement speeds up handling while supporting the repeatability expected from a tactical mount. The mount’s one-piece construction also helps maintain ring alignment, which matters for scope tube stress, tracking consistency, and long-term reliability.

Mechanically, the design is aimed at stable retention under recoil and repeated adjustment. Self-locking thread inserts help keep the bolted joints secure, and the tapered hinge connection between the upper and lower sections is intended to keep the assembly play-free. The body is made from aluminium with a black anodized finish, balancing durability with manageable weight, and its 136.00 mm overall length gives it the footprint expected of a serious long-range mounting solution.

About ERA-TAC

ERA-TAC is a brand of Recknagel GmbH & Co. KG, based in Bergrheinfeld, Germany. Recknagel was founded in 1867 in Albrechts near Suhl, Thuringia, and has long produced accessories for hunting, sport, and tactical firearms. The ERATAC line was introduced in 2010 to focus on tactical mounts and related accessories for civilian and military markets.

Within that range, ERA-TAC is known for tactical riflescope mounts, Picatinny rails, backup sights, and weapon accessories. Its mounts are machined from solid aluminum and hard-anodized to Mil-Spec Type III, reflecting a design approach centered on mechanical precision, repeatability, and field durability. That background makes the brand particularly relevant in the tactical optics and long-range mounting category, where secure clamping and consistent return to zero are central requirements.
