Element Optics Helix 4-16x44

• 4-16x magnification range: Covers close woodland shots at the low end and gives enough top-end precision for target work and longer distances, making the scope easier to use across hunting and practical rifle roles.
• First focal plane reticle: The reticle scales with magnification, so holdovers and ranging references stay consistent throughout the zoom range when dialing or holding for distance.
• Tool-free resettable turrets with zero stop: Fast turret reset and a hard return-to-zero help when making frequent elevation changes, reducing the chance of getting lost after multiple corrections.
• Side parallax from 15 m to infinity: Lets the image and reticle be brought into the same focal plane over a wide distance range, which helps sharpen the sight picture and improve aiming precision.
• 30 mm nitrogen-purged body: The waterproof, fogproof and shockproof construction supports reliable use in poor weather, rough transport and repeated field handling.

About the Element Optics Helix Series

The Element Optics Helix series sits as a core riflescope family in the company’s lineup and is built around the needs of shooters who dial regularly and expect dependable tracking. Element positions the original HELIX for modern shooting disciplines where turret adjustments and longer shots are part of normal use, rather than occasional extras. Across the range, the design emphasis is on clear glass, practical reticles and user-friendly turret systems instead of unnecessary complexity.

The lineup extends beyond the original models into HELIX GEN 2, HELIX HD, HELIX HDLR and HELIX HD Compact variants, showing how the series covers different budgets and applications while keeping the same practical design direction. Within the original HELIX family, models such as the 6-24x50 were offered with both first- and second-focal-plane reticles, including APR-1C and APR-2D options in FFP form. Tool-free turrets and a zero-stop mechanism are recurring Helix traits, giving the series a strong fit for target shooting, varminting and general long-range use where repeatable adjustments matter as much as optical clarity.

About the Element Optics Helix 4-16x44

The Element Optics Helix 4-16x44 takes the Helix concept and packages it into a more compact format than the larger 6-24x50 models, making it a strong choice for shooters who want dialing capability without adding unnecessary bulk. Its 4-16x magnification range is broad enough for mixed use: low magnification remains practical for shorter distances and moving targets, while 16x gives the extra image scale needed for precise shot placement on small targets or at extended range. The 44 mm objective lens helps keep the scope trim while still supporting a bright, usable image.

This model is built around a first focal plane reticle, which keeps subtensions accurate through the zoom range. In practice, that means holdovers, wind calls and ranging references remain valid whether the shooter is working at mid power or maximum magnification. The non-illuminated design keeps the reticle straightforward and avoids extra controls, which suits daylight target shooting and hunting where a clean sight picture is preferred.

The tactical turret layout is aimed at shooters who adjust often rather than set and forget. Tool-free resettable turrets make zeroing simpler, while the hard mechanical zero stop gives a clear return point after dialing elevation. With 23.30 mrad / 80.00 MOA of elevation travel and side parallax adjustment from 15 m to infinity, the scope is well suited to rimfire trainers, centerfire target rifles and crossover hunting setups that need precise focus and repeatable corrections over a wide distance range.

About Element Optics

Element Optics AB is based in Mariestad, Sweden, and the company began work on its first riflescope, the Nexus, in 2018. Element Optics focuses on riflescopes, electro-optics and shooting accessories, with products developed for sporting, hunting and competition shooting across both airguns and firearms. Its riflescope families include Helix, Titan, Nexus and Theos, and the wider range also extends to binoculars and rangefinders.

A notable part of the brand’s identity is its international design approach. The design team includes members from Sweden, South Africa and the United States, reflecting the company’s emphasis on practical features shaped by real shooting disciplines rather than a single-market perspective. In this category, Element Optics is known for combining straightforward reticle layouts, dialing-focused turret systems and durable mechanical construction in optics intended for regular field and range use.
