Dentler Dural mount, 36 mm

• 36 mm ring interface: This mount is built for 36 mm scope tubes, giving a direct and secure fit for larger hunting optics without improvised inserts or adapters.
• Modular Dentler interface: The mount connects to the Dentler Mounts Interface, making it easy to move an optic within a compatible system while keeping the setup organized and repeatable.
• Aluminium construction: The aluminium body keeps weight down compared with steel alternatives, which helps preserve the rifle’s handling balance on stalking and driven hunts.
• Repeatable detachable design: As part of Dentler’s repeatable mount concept, it supports removing and reinstalling the optic with consistent positioning, which is valuable when switching between rifles or sighting systems.
• Matte black finish: The black matte surface reduces reflections and gives the mount a discreet appearance that suits practical hunting rifles and field use.

About the Dentler Dural Mounts Series

Dentler Dural Mounts are the aluminium ring-module option within the company’s modular mounting system for hunting rifles. In the Dentler lineup, they sit alongside steel ring modules and are intended for shooters who want the flexibility of the BASIS concept with lower overall weight on the rifle. The series is built around the idea of separating the firearm-side base from the optic-side mount, so the optic assembly can be detached and reattached on compatible bases with a repeatable, play-free fit.

Within the series, ring modules are offered in different tube diameters and heights, allowing the same system architecture to support a wide range of riflescopes. A key advantage of the platform is that BASIS optic rails work with both BASIS and BASIS VARIO bases, which makes the system especially practical for hunters running more than one rifle or more than one optic. The Dural versions focus on keeping the optic mount light and straightforward while preserving the secure locking concept that defines Dentler’s modular approach.

About the Dentler Dural mount, 36 mm

The Dentler Dural mount, 36 mm is a detachable optic mount made for riflescopes with a 36 mm tube. That makes it relevant for larger premium optics that need a dedicated ring diameter rather than the more common 30 mm or 34 mm formats. By using the Dentler Mounts Interface, this model becomes part of a modular setup in which the optic and mount can be paired with a compatible Dentler base on the rifle. In practice, that helps when an optic needs to be removed for transport, replaced with another sighting system, or shared across rifles that use the same platform.

The use of aluminium is central to this model’s role. It keeps the mount lighter, which is useful on hunting rifles carried over long distances or fitted with already substantial glass. The KR 0.0 mm extension indicates a neutral layout, so the mount is suited to setups that do not require additional forward or rearward offset. Its matte black finish keeps reflections subdued and matches the practical, field-oriented character of modern hunting optics. As a complete mount in Dentler’s repeatable system, it is designed for shooters who value a clean installation, consistent positioning, and the flexibility to build a rifle-and-optic combination around a standardized interface.

About Dentler

Dentler Jagdwaffen was founded in 2011 by Daniel Dentler and is based in Leutkirch im Allgäu, Germany. The company specializes in modular riflescope mounting systems for hunting firearms, with its main platforms being BASIS and BASIS VARIO. Dentler’s approach centers on a firearm-specific base rail combined with an interchangeable optic mounting rail, allowing hunters to configure rifles and optics in a more flexible way than with fixed one-piece solutions.

A defining part of the brand’s identity is its focus on compatibility across many rifle and optic formats. Dentler offers mounting rails for optics from brands such as Aimpoint, Pulsar, Swarovski and Zeiss, and it lists base rails for firearms from makers including Benelli, Browning, Merkel, Heckler & Koch and Rößler. The company is best known for applying this modular design philosophy to practical hunting use, where repeatable removal and reinstallation matter as much as secure fit.
