Crimson Trace LTG-776 Lightguard

• Model-Specific Triggerguard Fit: The LTG-776 Lightguard is shaped for SIG Sauer P238 & P938 pistols, giving a secure mounted-light solution that follows the lines of the handgun without adding a bulky rail adapter.
• 110 Lumen LED Output: The white LED provides practical close-range illumination for target identification in low light, making the pistol easier to use indoors or in other confined environments where a compact defensive light makes sense.
• Instant Activation Controls: Ambidextrous activation with constant and momentary modes supports fast light use from a normal firing grip, so the shooter can manage illumination without shifting hand position.
• Rugged Polymer Housing: The polymer body keeps weight down while standing up to regular carry and handling, which helps preserve the balance of small defensive pistols.
• Rapid Battery Access: A quick-change battery cap and included batteries simplify maintenance, reducing downtime when the light needs fresh power.

About the Lightguard Series

The Crimson Trace Lightguard series is the company’s line of firearm-mounted lights built around model-specific fit rather than a one-size-fits-all rail format. These lights are intended for owners of defensive handguns who want white-light capability in a compact package that matches the shape of the pistol and keeps activation intuitive under stress. Across the series, the emphasis is on practical carry dimensions, straightforward installation, and controls that can be reached from a normal shooting grip.

A defining characteristic of the series is Instant Activation, with pressure-pad style controls positioned to support natural operation as the pistol is presented. In use, that design helps the shooter access light quickly without breaking grip or hunting for a switch. The Lightguard family also focuses on durable housings, simple battery replacement, and fitment tailored to specific handgun models. That approach makes the series especially relevant for concealed-carry and home-defense pistols, where size, handling, and dependable activation matter more than maximum output alone.

About the Crimson Trace LTG-776 Lightguard

The Crimson Trace LTG-776 Lightguard is a compact weapon-mounted light designed specifically for the SIG Sauer P238 and P938. Its triggerguard-mounted form is particularly well suited to slim, compact pistols where preserving handling is important. Instead of turning a small handgun into a front-heavy setup, the LTG-776 keeps the package trim and practical for defensive use, whether the pistol is carried daily or kept ready for low-light use at home.

Its 110 Lumen LED output is aimed at realistic handgun-light distances, where clear identification and navigation matter more than long-range throw. For close indoor work, hallways, vehicles, and other short-range environments, that level of output is useful without pushing the design toward unnecessary bulk. The light also offers constant and momentary modes, allowing the user to choose between brief, controlled bursts of illumination or sustained light depending on the situation.

The housing uses polymer construction, which helps keep weight manageable on small-frame pistols while still providing the durability expected from a carry-oriented accessory. Ambidextrous Instant Activation supports left- and right-handed operation and is designed to work from a normal firing grip, which is a meaningful advantage when speed matters. With over 1 hour of runtime and a rapid-change battery cap, the LTG-776 is built for straightforward upkeep as well as practical everyday readiness.
