Burris 30x Wide Angle Spotting Scope Eyepiece w/o Reticle

• Fixed 30x magnification: A dedicated 30x eyepiece gives a consistent image scale for spotting impacts, reading mirage, and judging detail without changing magnification as conditions shift.
• Wide-angle view: The wide-angle design helps keep more of the scene in view, making it easier to locate targets, track movement, and scan efficiently from a tripod.
• Fully multicoated optics: Lens coatings improve light transmission and contrast, which helps preserve image brightness and detail during long glassing sessions and in difficult light.
• Argon-purged weatherproof construction: Argon filling with waterproof and fogproof sealing helps the eyepiece stay clear when temperature changes, rain, or damp air would compromise lesser optics.
• No-reticle configuration: This version keeps the sight picture uncluttered, which suits users who want a simple observation eyepiece focused on target identification and detail rather than ranging.

About the Signature HD Series

The Burris Signature HD series sits in the brand’s upper sporting optics range and is built for shooters and observers who need more than casual field glassing. In the spotting scope line, the series is designed around high-definition optical performance, practical field durability, and accessories that let the system adapt to different spotting tasks. It is aimed at applications such as long-range shooting, target observation, hunting, and general field use where image clarity, reliable weather resistance, and stable tripod-based viewing matter.

A key characteristic of the series is its modular approach. The Signature HD spotting platform supports optional eyepieces, including a fixed 30x wide-angle eyepiece and reticle-equipped versions for users who want spotting and ranging capability in one optic. The design philosophy favors a useful balance of detail, field of view, and ruggedness rather than unnecessary complexity. In practice, that makes the series well suited to shooters calling corrections, hunters evaluating animals at distance, and anyone who needs a spotting scope system that remains comfortable to use over extended sessions in changing weather.

About the Burris 30x Wide Angle Spotting Scope Eyepiece w/o Reticle

The Burris 30x Wide Angle Spotting Scope Eyepiece w/o Reticle is a purpose-built accessory for the Signature HD spotting scope platform, giving it a fixed-power setup that emphasizes simplicity, image scale, and a broad viewing window. A fixed 30x magnification is especially useful for spotting applications where a consistent view helps the observer judge bullet trace, read wind indicators, or confirm hits without the distraction of changing zoom settings.

The wide-angle layout is what makes this eyepiece particularly practical in the field. Instead of feeling narrow or tunnel-like, the view stays more open, which helps when scanning target lines, following movement, or relocating a point of interest after recoil. Because this version has no reticle, the image remains clean and uncluttered, making it a strong choice for users who primarily want observation detail rather than holdover or ranging references in the eyepiece.

Fully multicoated lenses support contrast and brightness, while the argon-filled, waterproof and fogproof construction helps maintain a clear image when temperatures change or weather turns poor. At 141.80 g, the eyepiece adds useful capability without making the spotting setup cumbersome. The result is a compact, durable spotting scope eyepiece that suits range work, hunting observation, and general long-distance glassing where a stable 30x view is the priority.

About Burris

Burris was founded in 1971 and takes its name from founder Don Burris. The company built its reputation in sporting optics and now produces a broad range of equipment including hunting and tactical riflescopes, red-dot and reflex sights, binoculars, spotting scopes, rangefinders, thermal optics, rings, and mounts. That breadth is important in a product like a spotting scope eyepiece, because it reflects Burris’ long focus on practical field optics rather than one-off accessories.

Burris is headquartered in Greeley, Colorado, United States, and over the years it has introduced several notable products and technologies, including the Fullfield riflescope series in 1975 and the Ballistic Plex trajectory-compensating reticle in 2000. The brand’s experience across hunting optics and tactical optics gives its spotting products a strong emphasis on usable features, durability, and straightforward operation in real shooting environments.
