Ansmann X-Power Alkaline Battery D

• D / LR20 format: The large-cell size is suited to devices that draw more power over longer periods, helping reduce battery changes in torches, measuring equipment and other high-drain applications.
• Alkaline chemistry with 18000.00 mAh capacity: This combination provides dependable everyday power for compatible equipment where long service life matters more than rechargeability.
• 1.50 V output: The standard nominal voltage supports broad compatibility with devices designed around common D-cell alkaline batteries, making replacement straightforward.
• Wide operating temperature range: Rated for - 10 / + 50 °C, the battery remains usable across cold outdoor conditions and warmer indoor or workshop environments.
• Non-rechargeable design: A primary-cell format is practical for emergency kits, backup equipment and infrequently used devices that need ready-to-use power without charging maintenance.

About the Ansmann Accessories Series

The Ansmann Accessories series covers the brand’s practical power and support products for everyday electronic use. Within the wider ANSMANN range, it sits as a straightforward utility line focused on keeping common devices running reliably rather than adding charging electronics or specialist battery management features. The series spans familiar consumer battery formats including AA, AAA, C, D and 9 V, which makes it relevant for households, workshops, portable lighting and a broad range of battery-powered equipment.

In practical terms, the series is built around easy compatibility and clear format matching, so users can quickly select the correct cell size for the device at hand. ANSMANN positions this part of its catalog for routine applications such as flashlights, toys, cameras and remote controls, where dependable output and simple replacement matter most. Compared with the company’s rechargeable battery lines, the Accessories range is more about immediate readiness, broad device coverage and uncomplicated everyday use. That makes it a sensible fit for spare-power storage, emergency supplies and equipment that benefits from a battery being ready the moment it is installed.

About the Ansmann X-Power Alkaline Battery D

The Ansmann X-Power Alkaline Battery D is a large-format primary battery designed for devices that need more endurance than smaller AA or AAA cells can typically provide. Its D / LR20 size makes it especially suitable for equipment such as larger flashlights, portable instruments and other battery-powered devices that benefit from a higher-capacity cell and fewer battery swaps during use.

With an alkaline construction, 18000.00 mAh capacity and 1.50 V nominal output, this battery is aimed at stable, general-purpose power delivery in compatible electronics. In practice, that means it is well suited to applications where a disposable battery is preferred for convenience, long shelf readiness or use away from charging infrastructure. Because it is not rechargeable, it also works well as a backup power source in emergency kits or in devices that may sit unused for periods before being called into service.

The battery is also specified for a working temperature range of - 10 / + 50 °C, which broadens its usefulness across indoor storage, workshop use and outdoor conditions where temperatures can vary. For users choosing a D-cell alkaline battery, the main advantage of this model is its combination of familiar compatibility, substantial capacity and ready-to-use convenience in a format intended for longer-running applications.

About Ansmann

Ansmann was founded by Edgar Ansmann in 1991 in Assamstadt, Germany, where ANSMANN AG is still headquartered. The company focuses on battery, charging, drive-system and lighting technology, giving it a broad base in portable power products and related electronics. In the consumer segment, ANSMANN is well known for rechargeable batteries and chargers across common formats such as AA and AAA, alongside a wider catalog of primary batteries and accessories.

The company has also developed proprietary battery technologies, including maxE for NiMH rechargeable batteries with low self-discharge. In 2012, ANSMANN opened its own in-house UN test center, reflecting a strong emphasis on battery testing and compliance. For products such as the X-Power Alkaline Battery D, that background matters because it places the battery within a manufacturer whose core expertise is portable energy storage and power supply solutions.
