AccuShot Pro AS4 3-12x42

• 3-12x magnification range: Covers the space between close woodland shots and more deliberate work at medium distance, so one riflescope can stay useful across different rifles and shooting roles.
• Locking tactical turrets: The turrets are built for frequent adjustment, while the locking function helps prevent accidental movement when the rifle is carried, cased, or used around barricades.
• Side-focus parallax adjustment: Adjustment from 9.14m to Infinity helps keep the target and reticle on the same focal plane, which makes precise shot placement easier as distance changes.
• Glass-etched illuminated reticle: Red and green illumination improves reticle visibility against different backgrounds, while the etched design remains usable even when illumination is off.
• Compact 30 mm construction: The 30 mm tube, 256.00 mm overall length, and waterproof, fogproof, shockproof build give the scope a practical balance of mounting flexibility, durability, and field handling.

About the AccuShot Pro AS4 Series

The AccuShot Pro AS4 series sits in the brand's mid-power riflescope range and is aimed at shooters who want a practical crossover optic for hunting optics, range use, and tactical optics applications. In the AccuShot Pro lineup, the AS4 format bridges the gap between low-power carbine scopes and higher-magnification long-range models by combining a versatile zoom range with a compact overall footprint. That makes the series well suited to rifles that need to stay mobile without giving up useful precision at distance.

A defining trait of the series is its focus on usable field performance rather than unnecessary bulk. Glass-etched reticles with red and green illumination give the shooter a visible aiming point in changing light and against mixed backgrounds, while the 90% light transmission and fully multicoated optics are intended to preserve contrast and image brightness through the day. The AS4 concept also emphasizes repeatable handling, with tactical-style turrets, constant eye relief through the zoom range, and side-focus parallax adjustment for more exact aiming as target distance changes. In practice, the series is designed for shooters who need one scope to cover general-purpose precision work from short to medium range.

About the AccuShot Pro AS4 3-12x42

The AccuShot Pro AS4 3-12x42 is the model in the series built around a particularly useful magnification window for medium-range shooting. At 3x, it remains manageable for closer targets, moving game, or fast target transitions on practical rifles. At 12x, it provides enough image scale for more deliberate shot placement on smaller targets or for reading detail at longer distances without stepping into the size and weight of a larger long-range scope. That makes it a strong fit for general-purpose centerfire rifles, varmint setups, and compact precision-oriented builds.

Its optical layout supports that versatility. The 42 mm objective lens keeps the scope trim while still delivering a useful balance of brightness and mounting practicality. A stated 90% light transmission, fully multicoated lenses, and a field of view from 12.90 m/100m down to 3.20 m/100m help the scope stay adaptable as the shooter moves from scanning to more exact aiming. The constant 87.00 mm eye relief is especially helpful on rifles with noticeable recoil because head position stays familiar throughout the zoom range.

Mechanically, this model is set up for active adjustment. The locking tactical turrets are better suited to shooters who dial corrections rather than leave the scope on a fixed zero, and the side-focus parallax system from 9.14m to Infinity helps maintain a cleaner sight picture as distance changes. The illuminated reticle uses red and green settings for visibility in different environments, and because the reticle is glass-etched, the aiming point remains present even with the battery removed. With its 30 mm tube, 620.00 g weight, and waterproof, fogproof, shockproof construction, the AS4 3-12x42 is configured as a durable working riflescope rather than a bench-only optic.

About AccuShot Pro

Leapers, Inc. was established in 1992 as a garage business, and its first product was a 4×28 scope. The company is headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, United States, and it develops, manufactures, and distributes products for hunting and shooting sports. Within that portfolio, Accushot Pro serves as one of Leapers' riflescope brands, positioned around modern scope designs for shooters who want practical features and durable construction.

In this product family, Accushot Pro scopes use glass-etched reticles with variable red and green illumination, reflecting the brand's emphasis on clear aiming references and adaptable field use. The lineup includes models such as the AS6 1–6×24, AS3 3–9×36, and AS4 3–12×42, covering applications from low-power carbine use to mid-power precision work. That breadth gives the brand a clear role within Leapers' optics offering for shooters who need functional, purpose-built riflescopes.
