Vanguard Scout M62 A Aluminum Shooting Monopod

• Lightweight aluminum monopod: The Vanguard Scout M62 A keeps support weight low at 363.00 g, making it easier to carry on stalking hunts, long walks between stands, and mobile calling setups.
• Wide height adjustment: With an adjustable range from 676.00 mm to 1575.00 mm, it adapts to kneeling, seated, and standing shooting positions so one support covers varied terrain and cover.
• 360° rotating V-yoke: The V-shaped yoke lets the firearm pivot smoothly as game moves, helping maintain support while tracking without constantly lifting and resetting the stick.
• Quick deployment design: The Scout series uses quick-flip leg locks, allowing fast height changes when a shot develops suddenly and there is little time to reposition.
• Simple field-ready construction: Its aluminium build and compact monopod format keep the support straightforward, easy to handle, and practical where speed and mobility matter more than a larger rest.

About the Vanguard Scout Series

Vanguard Scout is a family of hunting shooting supports built around a simple idea: give hunters a steadier rest without adding unnecessary bulk. Vanguard currently places the Scout line in its shooting-sticks collection, with models intended specifically for field use during hunting. The range includes monopod, bipod, and tripod configurations, so users can choose between maximum mobility, a balance of speed and stability, or a more planted support for longer holds.

Across the series, the defining features are a 360-degree rotating V-shaped yoke, quick-flip leg locks, and versions with either aluminum or carbon-fiber legs. That gives the Scout family a clear role in the lineup: practical supports for hunters who need fast setup, straightforward handling, and height adjustment that works from low positions up to a 62-inch maximum height. The monopod models favor mobility and quick deployment, while the bipod and tripod versions add more support for situations where steadiness takes priority. As a series, Scout focuses on field utility rather than complexity, making it well suited to stalking, calling, blind hunting, and general-purpose hunting support.

About the Vanguard Scout M62 A Aluminum Shooting Monopod

The Vanguard Scout M62 A Aluminum Shooting Monopod is the most mobile style of shooting support in the Scout family. Its single-leg design keeps the system light and easy to carry, which suits hunters who cover ground, move between positions, or want a support that can be brought into action quickly without the extra footprint of a bipod or tripod. The aluminium construction helps keep the monopod practical for all-day carry while still providing the rigidity needed to steady a rifle, shotgun, or similar hunting firearm.

The adjustable height range of 676.00 mm to 1575.00 mm gives the Scout M62 A useful flexibility in the field. It can support kneeling and seated shots when working from cover, and it also extends high enough for standing use when vegetation or terrain prevents a lower position. That broad adjustment range makes it a versatile option for mixed hunting environments rather than a support limited to one shooting posture.

At the top, the V-shaped yoke provides a simple, intuitive rest that is quick to use under pressure. Because the yoke swivels, the monopod can follow movement more naturally than a fixed rest, which is especially helpful when tracking game across a lane or adjusting aim without rebuilding the shooting position. The result is a support that emphasizes speed, portability, and practical stability for hunting use.

About Vanguard

Vanguard was founded in 1986 in Asia and lists its design and manufacturing headquarters in Myanmar. The company designs and manufactures a broad range of outdoor and shooting-related equipment, including sporting optics, tripods, bags, and accessories. Within sporting optics, Vanguard’s catalog includes binoculars, spotting scopes, and rifle scopes, showing a product focus that extends from observation gear to field support equipment.

Vanguard expanded into sporting optics in the 2000s, with the Endeavor ED binocular line becoming one of its better-known series. That line used extra-low-dispersion glass and phase-corrected BaK4 prisms, reflecting the company’s emphasis on practical optical performance alongside mechanical products. The same in-house approach carries over to its support systems, with products developed and manufactured through company-operated facilities. For a product like the Scout M62 A, that background is relevant because Vanguard’s experience spans both field optics and the support gear used with them.
