UTG Combat Foldable Foregrip, QD Lock

• Foldable foregrip design: The grip folds when a lower profile is preferred, making the rifle easier to store, transport, or handle around barriers while still giving a vertical support point when deployed.
• QD lock mounting system: The quick-detach lock allows fast installation and removal on a compatible rail, which is useful for rifles that are reconfigured for different roles or accessories.
• Aluminium construction: The metal body gives the foregrip a solid feel and better resistance to hard field use than lightweight plastic designs, helping it stay stable under repeated handling.
• Compact 119.38 mm height: Its moderate size adds control without taking excessive space on the handguard, so it supports a firmer support-hand position without making the rifle feel bulky.
• Rifle-focused handling upgrade: By adding a more repeatable forward grip position, it can improve weapon control during rapid strings, positional shooting, and general manipulation.

About the UTG Accessories Series

UTG Accessories covers a broad range of practical shooting components built around everyday rifle setup needs rather than a single narrow application. As part of the UTG catalog, the series includes both firearm components and optic-related accessories, giving shooters a consistent ecosystem for configuring rifles, carbines, and supporting equipment. The range spans small scope accessories as well as larger hardware such as handguard-related components, which places it in the working end of the brand’s lineup.

Across the series, the emphasis is on functional mounting solutions, straightforward handling improvements, and durable construction suited to regular range use, hunting setups, and general-purpose tactical rifles. That makes the line relevant to shooters who want practical upgrades such as grips, rail accessories, and support components that integrate cleanly with common platforms. In use, the series is defined less by decorative styling and more by utility, compatibility, and simple operation, which is why it fits well on rifles that are frequently reconfigured for different tasks.

About the UTG Combat Foldable Foregrip, QD Lock

The UTG Combat Foldable Foregrip, QD Lock is a rifle foregrip designed for shooters who want a more controlled support-hand position without committing to a permanently fixed vertical grip. Its defining feature is the foldable layout, which lets the grip sit upright for active use and fold away when a lower profile is more practical. That flexibility is useful on rifles carried in cases, used around barricades, or configured for different shooting positions where a protruding grip may get in the way.

The QD lock system adds another practical advantage. A quick-detach interface makes it easier to install or remove the grip without turning the rifle into a dedicated one-setup platform. For shooters who alternate between a slick handguard and a more control-oriented arrangement, that means less downtime and less hassle when changing configuration. On a working rifle, this also helps when cleaning, transporting, or adapting the gun to different accessories.

Its aluminium construction gives the foregrip a more rigid and durable structure, which matters when the support hand is used aggressively to drive the rifle during recoil management or rapid target transitions. The 275.00 g weight and 119.38 mm height place it in a substantial, easy-to-index format that favors a secure hold over an ultra-minimal footprint. In practical terms, this foregrip is best suited to rifles that benefit from improved front-end control, repeatable hand placement, and a compact profile when the grip is folded out of the way.

About UTG

UTG is a brand of Leapers, Inc., a company founded in 1992 in Michigan and headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, United States. Leapers develops and manufactures optics and accessories for hunting and shooting sports, covering product categories such as riflescopes, scope rings, mounts, bipods, and other firearm accessories. The company began with a compact 4×28 scope as its first product, and it later expanded its catalog into a broad shooting-sports equipment range.

Within that development, Leapers introduced the UTG PRO line in 2009 for U.S.-made products and established an optics research and manufacturing center in Taiwan in 2018. This background is relevant to UTG accessories because it shows a long-standing focus on practical rifle equipment, mounting systems, and field-oriented shooting products rather than a single-category specialization.
