Thompson Center 209 Flex Capper

• Flexible silicone body: The soft silicone construction bends instead of cracking, making the capper easier to handle in cold weather and simpler to work into a pocket, possibles bag, or muzzleloader accessory kit.
• Built for 209 primers: Designed specifically for 209 primers, it gives muzzleloader shooters a dedicated loading aid that helps keep primers organized and ready during reloads in the field.
• Compact primer accessory: Its small, purpose-built format suits hunters who want essential muzzleloader accessories without adding bulk, so reload supplies stay easier to carry and manage.
• High-visibility red finish: The red color stands out against dark gear, range benches, and woodland ground cover, helping reduce the chance of misplacing a small but important primer tool.
• Simple field use: With a straightforward design focused on primer handling, the Thompson Center 209 Flex Capper supports faster, less fussy preparation when conditions are wet, cold, or awkward.

About the Thompson Center Accessories Series

Thompson Center Accessories is a practical product family built around the needs of hunters and outdoor users. Rather than focusing on one firearm platform alone, the series covers everyday support gear for carrying, organizing, and managing equipment in the field. Thompson/Center has used the line to address common hunting tasks such as transporting firearms and binoculars, as well as keeping muzzleloader reload supplies close at hand and easy to access.

Within the broader Thompson/Center lineup, this series sits as a utility-focused complement to the brand’s firearms and black-powder equipment. The design approach is straightforward: durable materials, uncomplicated handling, and formats that make sense for real field use rather than bench-only convenience. That makes the series especially relevant to shooters who want accessories that are easy to pack, quick to deploy, and suited to changing weather and terrain. Across the range, the emphasis is on field carry, gear organization, and dependable handling for hunting applications.

About the Thompson Center 209 Flex Capper

The Thompson Center 209 Flex Capper is a compact muzzleloader accessory made for handling 209 primers more conveniently in the field. Its role is simple but useful: it helps keep primers together and easier to manage when loading or reloading a muzzleloader, especially when fingers are cold, gloved, or working in awkward shooting positions. For hunters carrying a black-powder setup, small accessories like this can make routine handling more controlled and less frustrating.

A key part of this model is its silicone construction. Compared with a more rigid material, silicone gives the capper a flexible feel that is easier to grip, easier to stow, and less likely to become brittle in rough outdoor use. That flexibility also suits a pocketable accessory that may be carried alongside other muzzleloader tools and supplies. The red finish adds a practical benefit as well, making the capper easier to spot in a possibles pouch, on a shooting bench, or if set down briefly during loading.

Because it is purpose-built for primers rather than being a generic storage item, this accessory fits naturally into a dedicated muzzleloader kit. It is best suited to shooters who want a lightweight, uncomplicated primer tool that supports cleaner organization and quicker access during hunting or range sessions.
