Strasser Picatinny Rail, Strasser RS700, 0 MOA

• 0 MOA alignment: Keeps the optic on a neutral mounting plane, which suits standard zeroing distances and preserves the riflescope’s internal adjustment range for general hunting and sporting use.
• Steel construction: The steel body adds rigidity at the receiver interface, helping the rail stay stable under recoil and supporting consistent optic positioning over time.
• Picatinny interface: A full Picatinny top profile makes it easier to fit a wide range of scope rings and optic mounts, giving the RS 700 more flexibility than a dedicated ring-only solution.
• RS 700-specific fit: Built for the Strasser RS 700, this rail provides a direct platform for mounting optics on the rifle without adapting to a generic footprint.
• Low-profile KR 0.0 mm design: With KR 0.0 mm extension, the rail keeps the setup straightforward and compact, which helps maintain balanced rifle handling.

About the Strasser mounts Series

Strasser mounts are built around the company’s approach to secure, repeatable optic mounting on its straight-pull rifle platforms. Within the STRASSER lineup, the series covers both dedicated ring mounts and interface-specific solutions, including a Picatinny mount for shooters who want broader compatibility with modern optics and accessories. The system is shaped by STRASSER’s focus on practical field handling, with a geometry intended to position the mount low over the receiver for a stable sight line and consistent cheek weld.

A defining feature of the series is the brand’s three-point ball-seat interface on compatible STRASSER rifles. This design is intended to support repeatable mounting, while the bayonet catch allows quick installation and removal with one hand. Across the range, STRASSER offers versions for 25.4 mm, 30 mm and 34 mm scope tubes as well as several optic-specific interfaces. That makes the series relevant both to traditional hunting optics and to more modular setups where a Picatinny rail is the better choice for changing scopes, ring heights or sighting systems.

About the Strasser Picatinny Rail, Strasser RS700, 0 MOA

The Strasser Picatinny Rail, Strasser RS700, 0 MOA is a rifle-specific mounting base made for shooters who want to equip the STRASSER RS 700 with the broad compatibility of a Picatinny platform. Instead of limiting the rifle to one ring pattern or proprietary optic interface, this rail opens the door to a wide selection of scope rings and sight mounts. That is especially useful on a precision-oriented rifle such as the RS 700, where optic choice often depends on the intended role, from hunting optics to target and long-range configurations.

The 0 MOA inclination keeps the rail neutral, which is often the preferred setup when the rifle is used at conventional distances or when the chosen scope already offers sufficient elevation travel. In practical terms, that simplifies zeroing and avoids adding forward cant where it is not needed. The steel construction supports a solid interface between rifle and optic, which matters for maintaining alignment and resisting wear from repeated use or recoil. Finished in black, the rail keeps a subdued appearance that matches most optics and rifle setups.

Because this is an RS 700-specific rail with KR 0.0 mm extension and no adjustable windage, the design stays straightforward: the base provides a stable, centered mounting platform while windage and elevation correction remain at the optic. For shooters who want a durable, uncomplicated way to mount a riflescope on the RS 700, this Picatinny rail is the practical choice.

About Strasser

STRASSER is a family-owned Austrian firearms manufacturer based near Salzburg. The company was founded in the years following World War II, although it does not state an exact founding year on its official website. STRASSER focuses on hunting and sporting firearms and has also produced components for other firearms brands, which reflects a strong manufacturing background beyond complete rifles alone.

The brand is particularly known for its straight-pull rifles, including the RS 05, RS 14, RS SOLO and RS 700 lines. Its technical identity is closely tied to practical mechanical solutions such as the three-point ball-seat scope-mounting system and the B-EX barrel-exchange system developed for RS rifles. The RS 14, introduced in 2014, expanded the company’s straight-pull rifle range and helped establish STRASSER’s reputation for modular rifle design and precise manufacturing.
