Steiner Battery Cap for Ranger 4, Predator 4

• Made for Ranger 4 and Predator 4 scopes: This battery cap is intended for Steiner Ranger 4 and Predator 4 riflescopes, making it a direct replacement for the original illumination battery cover on compatible models.
• Restores reliable battery retention: A fresh cap helps keep the CR2032 battery properly seated, which is important for consistent reticle illumination in the field.
• Includes sealing components: The cap design is associated with a positive pressing ring and a battery cap gasket, helping maintain the secure fit and environmental sealing expected from the scope.
• Practical maintenance part: It is a useful spare for hunters and shooters who want to replace a worn, damaged or misplaced cap without changing the riflescope itself.

About the Steiner Accesories Series

Steiner Accesories covers the practical add-ons and replacement parts that support Steiner optics in regular field use. Within Steiner’s broader lineup, this series sits alongside the company’s riflescopes and binoculars as a way to maintain, protect and adapt an optic rather than change its core performance. The range includes items such as anti-reflection devices, sunshades, scope covers and magnification throw levers, all aimed at solving specific use-case needs.

Across the series, the design approach is straightforward: accessories are built around the dimensions and operating features of particular Steiner models, so they integrate cleanly and preserve normal handling. Some products focus on protection, such as scope covers with extended sides over the turrets, while others reduce glare or visible reflection at the objective lens. In that context, the series is especially relevant to hunting optics and field riflescopes, where durability, weather resistance and low-profile handling matter as much as optical performance. Steiner accessories are therefore less about adding complexity and more about keeping an optic ready, protected and functional in real use.

About the Steiner Battery Cap for Ranger 4, Predator 4

The Steiner Battery Cap for Ranger 4, Predator 4 is a small but important riflescope accessory intended to keep compatible illuminated scopes operating as designed. On Ranger 4 and Predator 4 models, the illumination system relies on a battery compartment cap to close the housing securely and hold the battery in proper contact. Replacing a lost or damaged cap is therefore not just cosmetic; it helps restore dependable reticle illumination when the scope is used in low light, dense cover or at the edges of legal shooting time.

This accessory is especially relevant for hunters who depend on an illuminated aiming point and want to keep their optic in service without replacing larger components. The inclusion of a positive pressing ring and battery cap gasket matters in practice because these parts help maintain pressure on the battery and support the seal at the cap interface. That contributes to stable operation and helps preserve the scope’s intended resistance to field conditions. As a dedicated Steiner replacement part for Ranger 4 and Predator 4 riflescopes, it is best understood as a maintenance item that protects the usability of the illumination system and keeps the optic ready for regular hunting use.

About Steiner

Steiner was founded by Karl Steiner in 1947 in Bayreuth, Germany, where the company is still headquartered. It has built its reputation around optical products for demanding outdoor and professional use, including binoculars, riflescopes and thermal-imaging products. Steiner serves hunting, water sports, outdoor, defense and law-enforcement markets, which helps explain the company’s strong emphasis on durability and field reliability.

Several milestones are especially relevant to this product category. In 1973, Steiner introduced binoculars with nitrogen filling to reduce internal fogging during temperature changes, and in 1979 it launched a binocular with an integrated compass that established the Commander marine line. Since August 2008, Steiner has been part of Beretta Holding. For riflescope users, the company’s long-standing focus on rugged construction and practical field performance is the key point: Steiner accessories and replacement parts are part of the same product philosophy as its hunting optics.
