Sightmark Triple Duty Universal Boresight

• Universal self-centering fit: The Triple Duty Universal Boresight works across .17 to .50 caliber firearms, so one tool can handle rifles, shotguns, and pistols without switching caliber-specific inserts.
• Magnetic muzzle attachment: The boresight mounts at the end of the barrel with a magnetic base, which makes setup quick and helps avoid loose adapter pieces that can be misplaced at the range.
• Red laser for initial alignment: Its visible red laser gives a clear reference point for rough zeroing, helping bring optics, iron sights, or lasers close to point of impact before live-fire confirmation.
• Ammo-saving sight-in aid: By establishing preliminary alignment before shooting, it helps reduce wasted test rounds and shortens the time needed to get a firearm on paper.
• Compact steel-bodied design: The small, durable construction is easy to carry in a range bag and suited to repeated use on different firearms.

About the Sightmark Boresights Series

Sightmark Boresights are built as practical sight-in tools for shooters who want a faster starting point before final zero confirmation on the range. The series covers a broad mix of firearm types, including rifles, pistols, rimfires, shotguns, and even archery applications, which places it as a utility-focused accessory family within the wider Sightmark lineup. Rather than replacing live-fire zeroing, these boresights are intended to reduce the amount of adjustment and ammunition needed to get there.

Within the series, Sightmark offers both caliber-specific in-chamber models and universal designs for shooters who need one tool for multiple platforms. The Triple Duty concept stands out for its self-centering arbor and magnetic muzzle attachment, giving it a flexible fit without separate inserts. That makes the series especially relevant for mixed-use owners, clubs, or anyone moving between hunting and target-shooting setups. Across the range, the emphasis is on straightforward handling, quick setup, and compatibility that supports both newer shooters and experienced users maintaining several firearms.

About the Sightmark Triple Duty Universal Boresight

The Sightmark Triple Duty Universal Boresight is designed as a flexible zeroing aid for shooters who use more than one firearm platform. Instead of relying on caliber-specific chamber inserts, it covers .17 to .50 caliber rifles, shotguns, and pistols, making it a practical choice for mixed collections or range bags where one accessory needs to serve several guns. That broad compatibility is the main advantage of this model: it simplifies setup and reduces the need to carry multiple dedicated boresights.

A defining feature is its self-centering arbor, which works with a magnetic muzzle attachment at the end of the barrel. In practice, this means the unit is quick to place, easy to remove, and does not depend on extra attachment pieces that can be lost between sessions. The red laser provides a visible aiming reference for rough alignment, helping bring an optic or iron sight close to zero before the first shots are fired. That saves time on the bench and helps reduce unnecessary ammunition use during initial setup.

With its steel construction and compact 50.00 g weight, the boresight is easy to pack and durable enough for regular use as part of a maintenance or setup kit. It is especially well suited to shooters who regularly swap optics, confirm alignment after transport, or want a simple way to get a hunting or target firearm on paper before final live-fire adjustments.

About Sightmark

Sightmark was introduced at SHOT Show in 2007 and is a brand of Sellmark Corporation, headquartered in Mansfield, Texas, United States. The company focuses on optics and shooting accessories for hunting, home defense, and competition shooting, with products designed for use on rifles, shotguns, and pistols. Its catalog spans red-dot sights, riflescopes, laser boresights, binoculars, and spotting scopes, giving the brand a broad presence across both aiming and observation equipment.

In addition to conventional optics, Sightmark also produces digital night-vision and thermal optics, including products in its Wraith line. This mix of daytime optics, electronic sighting systems, and support accessories helps explain the brand’s strong position in practical shooting gear. For a product such as the Triple Duty Universal Boresight, that background matters because Sightmark develops accessories intended to work alongside the optics and firearm platforms shooters already use in the field and on the range.
