Safariland Hood Guard and Sentry-Self Locking System

1. Level III Retention™ Upgrade: This system elevates the security of any standard Safariland SLS holster. The addition of the Sentry lock works in conjunction with the SLS to create a Level III Retention™ holster, offering superior weapon security in high-threat situations.

2. Enhanced Weapon Protection: The Hood Guard acts as a robust physical barrier, shielding the SLS release mechanism. This design is critical for preventing accidental deactivation during a struggle and protecting against unauthorized access to the firearm.

3. Durable Duty-Ready Construction: Manufactured in the USA from a rugged, injection-molded polymer, this accessory is built to withstand the same harsh conditions as the holsters it protects. Its impact-resistant material ensures reliable performance day after day.

4. Seamless Integration: Engineered for a perfect fit, the Hood Guard and Sentry system attaches directly to existing mounting points on Safariland SLS holsters. Installation is straightforward, allowing for an immediate and effective security enhancement without permanent modifications.

ABOUT THE SAFARILAND HOOD GUARD AND SENTRY-SELF LOCKING SYSTEM

The Safariland Hood Guard and Sentry-Self Locking System is a crucial upgrade designed to elevate the security of your existing duty holster. This product is not a holster itself but a combination of two accessories that provides an additional layer of weapon retention. The Hood Guard is a protective shield that covers the Self Locking System (SLS) release, preventing it from being accessed by an assailant. The Sentry is a secondary lock that secures the SLS hood, upgrading the holster to Level III Retention™. Constructed from high-strength, impact-resistant polymer, this system is engineered for the rigors of law enforcement and tactical operations. It is an essential piece of equipment for any officer, security professional, or armed citizen who prioritizes weapon security above all else in potentially volatile environments.
