Safariland 6009VE Tactical Leg Shroud Single Strap STXTAC

• Single-strap leg shroud layout: keeps the platform compact and close to the body, helping reduce bulk while still providing a stable mounting point for a holster or accessories.
• Swiveling D-Ring belt attachment: allows the shroud to move more naturally with the wearer, improving comfort when sitting, kneeling or moving through vehicles and confined spaces.
• Injection-molded polymer construction: gives the shroud the rigidity needed to support mounted gear while remaining durable enough for regular duty and field use.
• Enhanced hook-and-loop belt interface: improves attachment security and helps keep the upper connection in place during movement, while still allowing quick removal when needed.
• Safariland tactical shroud compatibility: integrates with Safariland leg-shroud setups, making it useful for replacing worn components or adapting an existing tactical holster platform.

About the Safariland Accessories Series

Safariland Accessories covers the support components that turn a holster into a complete carry system, including shrouds, straps and mounting hardware for duty and tactical use. Within the Safariland lineup, this series sits alongside the company’s retention holsters and is aimed at users who need to tailor ride height, mounting position and carry stability to a specific role. That makes it relevant for law enforcement, military and professional range use, where the way a holster is mounted can matter as much as the holster itself.

The series is built around modularity and durability. Rather than treating the platform as fixed, Safariland’s accessory approach allows users to configure a rig for lower-profile carry, additional mounted accessories or replacement of worn parts without changing the entire system. In practice, that means robust polymer components, secure belt interfaces and hardware layouts designed to work with established Safariland tactical holster patterns. The result is a family of accessories focused on stable carry, predictable movement and service use, with designs that support long wear times and repeated on-off use in demanding environments.

About the Safariland 6009VE Tactical Leg Shroud Single Strap STXTAC

The Safariland 6009VE Tactical Leg Shroud Single Strap STXTAC is a compact thigh-mount accessory built for users who want a lower-profile leg platform without the added bulk of a larger dual-strap setup. Its single-strap configuration keeps the assembly lighter and less intrusive, which is especially useful when moving through vehicles, working in confined spaces or wearing other belt-mounted equipment. For users who already rely on Safariland tactical holster systems, it provides a practical way to maintain a stable drop-leg position while keeping the rig streamlined.

A key part of the design is the D-Ring belt attachment, which lets the upper connection move with the body instead of staying rigid. That matters in real use because the platform can remain more comfortable when seated, crouched or transitioning between positions. The enhanced hook-and-loop attachment adds security at the belt interface and helps the shroud stay properly aligned during movement, while still allowing the attachment section to be removed when needed. Combined with a polymer body, the setup balances structure and flexibility well: rigid enough to support mounted gear, but not overly cumbersome for extended wear. As a holster accessory rather than a complete holster, it is best suited to users building, maintaining or updating a Safariland tactical carry platform around proven mounting geometry.

About Safariland

Safariland was established in 1964 by Neale Perkins, who began the business in Sierra Madre, California. The company developed its reputation through duty holsters and related equipment, then expanded into a broader professional equipment range that includes holsters, accessories, armor and communications gear. Today, The Safariland Group is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida.

The brand is closely associated with equipment for law enforcement, military, fire and rescue, competitive shooting and everyday carry. In the holster category, Safariland is particularly known for its retention-focused designs, including the ALS system, which secures the firearm with an internal lock released by a thumb lever. That emphasis on secure carry, modular mounting and professional use makes Safariland a natural fit for tactical holster accessories such as the 6009VE platform.
