Rusan Reduction Ring for Pulsar DFA75 Product description

  • Purpose-built thread conversion: This reducing ring adapts the Pulsar DFA75 mounting standard to a Rusan M52x0.75 adapter-clamp interface, making it possible to integrate compatible thermal clip-on devices into a proven mounting system.
  • Modular clip-on setup: Used with the appropriate Rusan Q-R adapter, the ring helps build a complete clip-on solution, which is practical for shooters who want to match one thermal device to different daytime optics.
  • Steel construction: The steel body gives the ring the rigidity needed to keep the connection stable under repeated mounting and field use, which matters for maintaining alignment in hunting optics applications.
  • Counter nut and wrench included: The supplied counter nut and wrench simplify installation and allow the ring to be secured correctly, reducing the chance of movement once the adapter is assembled.
  • Compact, low-mass design: At 50.00 g, the ring adds very little weight to the front of the optic, helping preserve the handling balance of a rifle fitted with a thermal clip-on device.

About the Rusan Accessories Series

Rusan Accessories is the part of the Rusan-Mikron range dedicated to the practical connection of night-vision and thermal clip-on devices to daytime riflescopes. The series is built around a modular idea: instead of treating every rifle and every clip-on as a fixed combination, Rusan developed adapters and reduction rings that let users configure a system around the device interface and the riflescope objective size. That approach is especially useful for hunters and professional users who want to move one clip-on unit between multiple rifles or keep several optics ready within the same mounting standard.

Within the wider Rusan lineup, this series sits alongside the company’s mounts, rings and rails, but it focuses specifically on the interface between clip-on thermal or night-vision equipment and the host optic. The range includes both conventional and modular adapter systems, as well as dedicated accessories and spare parts. A key characteristic of the series is that each component has a clear job: clamps secure to the riflescope, reduction rings match the device thread or mounting pattern, and related parts complete the assembly. That makes the system straightforward to expand, service and adapt as equipment changes.

About the Rusan Reduction Ring for Pulsar DFA75

The Rusan Reduction Ring for Pulsar DFA75 is a dedicated interface part for users building a clip-on setup around Pulsar Core, DFA75 or DN55 devices. Rather than acting as a complete adapter on its own, this model serves a specific mechanical role inside the system: it converts the connection from the M52x0.75 adapter-clamp side to the 2 pin bayonet system used by the compatible Pulsar platform. In practice, that means it is the part that allows a Rusan adapter body and a supported Pulsar clip-on device to work together correctly.

This is particularly useful in thermal hunting optics setups where a shooter wants the speed and repeatability of a quick-release adapter system without giving up device-specific fit. Because the ring is made from steel, it provides a durable contact point in a part of the assembly that is repeatedly installed, removed and tightened. The included counter nut helps secure the ring in position, while the supplied wrench makes installation more controlled and consistent.

Its 50.00 g weight keeps the assembly compact and avoids unnecessary front-end bulk. The black finish matches typical clip-on hardware and keeps the part visually discreet on the rifle. Most importantly, this ring is intended for users who need a precise, device-specific link inside a broader Rusan adapter setup, not a one-piece standalone mount.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is a Croatian manufacturer based in Marija Bistrica, with roots in the Rusan family’s metalworking business dating back to 1983. Željko Rusan opened a gunsmith shop in 1986, and the company began producing scope mounts in 1993. That background is important because Rusan’s reputation in the shooting world is built on mechanical fit, machining quality and practical mounting solutions rather than on optics production itself.

Today, the company is known for scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails and firearm tuning products, along with adapters for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices. Rusan introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009, and that product line remains central to the brand’s identity. For accessories such as this reducing ring, that specialization matters: the product comes from a manufacturer focused on the precise interface between rifles, optics and clip-on devices.

Dear Sir,

thank you for contacting us.

The reduction ring from manufacturer Rusan is meant to be screwed on the adapter which you can find here: https://www.optics-trade.eu/si/rusan-q-r-adapter-for-dedal-540-552-jahnke-lahoux.html. Please note in order to fit the adapter to the objective of your riflescope you need to know the exact diameter size of the objective (outside housing) on your rifle scope.

Thank you for your understanding.

If you will need any additional information please do not hesitate to contact us again.

Kind Regards
