Rusan Q-R adapter for Pulsar DFA75 Product description

  • Quick-release clip-on interface: The Q-R design lets the thermal clip-on be attached and removed quickly, which helps when moving between day and night use or when sharing equipment across setups.
  • Built for Pulsar DFA75 standard: This adapter is made for the Pulsar DFA75 mounting standard, giving a dedicated fit for compatible Pulsar clip-on systems rather than a generic workaround.
  • Steel construction: A steel body adds the rigidity needed for repeatable mounting and dependable alignment, which matters when a clip-on device must stay stable in front of the riflescope.
  • Light 100 g format: At 100.00 g, the adapter adds relatively little weight to the front of the optic, helping preserve the handling balance of the rifle and clip-on combination.
  • Expandable adapter concept: This adapter works as part of a two-part solution with a compatible reducing ring, making it easier to configure the mounting system around the specific clip-on and riflescope combination.

About the Rusan Accessories Series

Rusan Accessories covers the company’s mounting and interface components for riflescopes, night-vision devices and thermal clip-on systems. Within the Rusan lineup, this series focuses on the practical hardware that allows different optics to work together securely and with repeatable positioning in the field. A key part of the range is the company’s adapter and reduction-ring system, developed for attaching front-mounted clip-on devices to conventional daytime optics.

The series includes solutions for specific thermal and night-vision platforms, along with related spare parts and accessory components. Rusan also offers both conventional and modular adapter systems, giving users a choice between a dedicated setup and a more flexible approach for using one clip-on across multiple rifles or pairing different clip-on devices with different riflescopes. The design philosophy is straightforward: durable metal construction, precise fit and a mounting concept that supports fast handling without making the optical setup unnecessarily complicated. For hunting optics and other field use, that means accessories built around secure attachment, compatibility and repeatable use rather than unnecessary bulk.

About the Rusan Q-R adapter for Pulsar DFA75

The Rusan Q-R adapter for Pulsar DFA75 is a dedicated mounting component for users who need to fit a thermal clip-on with the Pulsar DFA75 interface to a riflescope setup. Its main advantage is speed: the quick-release format simplifies installation and removal, which is useful when the rifle alternates between daytime shooting and thermal observation or when the clip-on is moved between compatible optics.

This adapter is intended for the Pulsar DFA75 mounting standard and is suitable for use with Pulsar Core, Pulsar DFA75 and Pulsar DN55 systems. In practice, that gives owners of these clip-on platforms a purpose-built connection point instead of relying on improvised mounting solutions. The steel construction supports a firm and stable interface, helping the clip-on remain properly aligned in front of the day optic. That stability matters because front-mounted thermal devices depend on consistent positioning for reliable use.

At 100.00 g, the adapter keeps added front-end weight modest, which helps preserve rifle balance better than heavier mounting hardware. This product also forms part of a two-piece arrangement, used together with a compatible Rusan reducing ring for Pulsar DFA75. That system approach makes it easier to match the clip-on mounting standard to the riflescope’s outer dimensions while keeping the setup practical and repeatable.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is a Croatian manufacturer based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, with roots in the Rusan family’s metalworking business dating back to 1983. The company moved into scope-mount production in 1993 and built its reputation around precisely machined mounting components for sporting and hunting firearms. Its range includes scope mounts, scope rings, Picatinny rails and firearm tuning products, with a strong focus on parts that must fit securely and hold alignment in regular field use.

Rusan is especially well known for adapter clamps and related interfaces for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices. The company introduced its clip-on sight adapter clamp in 2009, establishing a product category that remains central to its offering today. That background is directly relevant here: Rusan’s experience lies in making the mechanical link between riflescopes and add-on optics dependable, repeatable and easy to integrate into a working rifle setup.

Hello, I’m looking for the adapter for a Pulsar DFA75 to a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40mm. Online the outer diameter says 46.7-47mm. Would I need the 46.7 or the 47.5 and tighten down? I don’t have the scope in front of me to get the measurement.

by Drew

Dear Sir!

According to the official Vortex Optics specifications, the objective diameter of the Vortex Crossfire II 3‑9x40 is 48 mm.

We recommend that you measure your exact objective lens diameter to be certain, as the adapter must match that measurement precisely to fit.
