Rusan Pivot mount without bases for Sauer 100/101, LM rail

• Pivot quick-release design: The mount lets the optic be attached and removed quickly while returning to the same mounting position, which is useful for rifles that alternate between scoped and open-sight use.
• LM rail interface: Built for optics with an LM rail, this version avoids separate rings and creates a clean, low-profile connection with compatible scope bodies.
• Steel construction: A steel body gives the mount the rigidity needed to keep alignment stable under recoil and repeated handling in the field.
• 17.00 mm build height: The relatively low 17.00 mm height helps keep the optic close to the rifle, supporting a more natural cheek weld and steadier shooting position.
• Without bases configuration: This upper assembly is intended for rifles already fitted with the correct pivot bases, making it a practical choice when replacing or changing only the optic-side mount.

About the Rusan Pivot Mounts Series

Rusan Pivot Mounts are the company’s traditional swing or swivel-style mounting line for hunters and rifle owners who want a detachable optic setup without moving to a bulkier tactical rail system. In the Rusan range, this series covers both complete mounts with bases and pivot mounts sold without bases, so the system can be matched either to a new rifle installation or to an existing base set.

The series is built around steel construction and quick-release fixation, with versions made for many rifle makes and models as well as for different optic attachment standards. Depending on the configuration, Rusan offers pivot mounts for conventional scope tubes and for rail-equipped optics such as LM rails. This makes the series relevant for classic European hunting rifles, where a low mounting position, repeatable removal, and a clean rifle profile are often valued more than modularity. Across the range, the design philosophy is straightforward: secure lock-up, model-specific fit, and a detachable mounting system that supports regular field use.

About the Rusan Pivot mount without bases for Sauer 100/101, LM rail

The Rusan Pivot mount without bases for Sauer 100/101, LM rail is a model-specific upper mount intended for rifles already equipped with the correct pivot bases for the Sauer 100/101 platform. Because it is supplied without bases, it suits shooters who already use a pivot system and want to add or change an optic without replacing the rifle-side foundation.

This version is configured for an LM rail, which makes it especially suitable for premium hunting scopes that use an integrated rail instead of separate rings. In practice, that gives a neat installation with fewer clamping points on the scope body and helps maintain consistent alignment. The 17.00 mm height keeps the optic low over the receiver, which generally improves head position and makes the rifle feel more natural when mounting it quickly for a shot.

The mount body is made from steel, chosen for stiffness and long-term durability in a component that must hold zero through recoil, transport, and repeated removal. Its quick-release pivot format is useful for hunters who may remove the scope for storage, travel, or use with backup sights, then reinstall it with the same handling pattern. With 0 MOA inclination, the mount is centered on a standard optical setup rather than built-in long-range cant, making it a sensible fit for general hunting use.

About Rusan

Rusan-Mikron is a Croatian manufacturer based in Marija Bistrica, Croatia, and the company’s metalworking roots go back to 1983. The business developed from the Rusan family’s engineering and gunsmithing background, with Željko Rusan opening a gunsmith shop in 1986 and the company beginning scope-mount production in 1993. That background is relevant because Rusan remains closely associated with practical firearm interface components rather than general outdoor optics.

Today, Rusan is known for producing scope mounts, scope rings, and Picatinny rails, along with firearm tuning parts and adapter systems for clip-on devices. The company is also widely recognized for its adapter clamps for night-vision and thermal-imaging devices, a category it expanded notably with its clip-on sight adapter clamp introduced in 2009. This focus on precise mechanical fit and repeatable attachment systems carries directly into its hunting optics mounts.
