Recknagel Weaver Front Base for Zastava 70

1. Lightweight Aluminium Construction: This Weaver front base is crafted from durable aluminium, providing a light yet strong foundation for your optics. Aluminium minimises the added weight to your rifle, which is particularly beneficial for hunters who carry their firearms over long distances, contributing to overall firearm balance and handling.

2. Precision Engineering for Zastava M70: Designed with meticulous precision, this base perfectly matches the receiver contours of the Zastava M70 rifle. This rifle-specific fit ensures optimal alignment and a secure attachment point for your scope, which is crucial for maintaining consistent accuracy during hunting or sport shooting activities.

3. Weaver Standard Compatibility: Adhering to the well-established Weaver mounting standard, this base readily accepts a wide range of Weaver-style scope rings. This allows users flexibility in choosing their preferred optic and ring combination, making it a versatile option for budget-conscious users.

4. Cost-Effective Mounting Solution: Two-piece Weaver bases represent one of the most economical methods to mount a rifle scope. While offering an attractive price point, it's important to recognise the inherent installation complexity. Professional installation by a gunsmith is highly recommended to prevent potential scope damage due to misalignment.

ABOUT THE RECKNAGEL WEAVER FRONT BASE FOR ZASTAVA 70

The Recknagel Weaver Front Base for Zastava 70 offers a traditional and cost-effective solution for mounting optics on the popular Zastava M70 rifle. Crafted from high-quality aluminium, this base provides a lightweight yet durable platform, appealing especially to hunters and recreational shooters who prioritise reducing overall rifle weight without compromising on stability. Unlike more complex mounting systems, this two-piece base is designed for straightforward attachment. However, due to its two-piece nature, achieving perfect alignment in all axes (height, longitudinal, and horizontal) is crucial to avoid stressing the scope tube and affecting accuracy. For optimal performance and to safeguard your optic, we strongly advise professional gunsmith installation. This particular front base is an excellent choice for those seeking a reliable and budget-friendly mounting option, provided proper installation is ensured to handle the rigours of typical use scenarios.
