Recknagel UNIVERSAL-Interface Aluminum Scope Ring, 34mm

• UNIVERSAL interface: The integrated top interface accepts matching Picatinny rails and adapter plates, turning a simple scope ring into a compact mounting point for red dots or other optical accessories.
• 34 mm fit: Built for riflescopes with a 34 mm tube, this ring adds accessory capability without changing the main optic setup or requiring a separate receiver-mounted solution.
• Freely selectable interface position: The ring can be installed with the interface at the desired radial position around the scope tube, making it easier to place accessories where they remain usable without obstructing turrets or controls.
• High-grade aluminum construction: The aluminum body keeps weight to 50.00 g, helping preserve rifle balance while still providing a stable base for mounted accessories.
• Hard-anodized matte black finish: The durable surface treatment improves resistance to wear and handling marks, which matters on a part that may be installed, adjusted, and used in demanding field conditions.

About the Recknagel Accesories Series

Recknagel Accesories brings together practical components for hunting firearms and workshop use, with a focus on parts that solve mounting and handling tasks without unnecessary complexity. Within this range, UNIVERSAL-interface scope rings stand out as a modular option for shooters who need to add accessories directly to a riflescope rather than to the firearm itself. That approach is especially useful when space on the rifle is limited or when the accessory needs to sit close to the optic.

The series is built around a simple idea: a ring can do more than clamp to a scope tube. By combining a secure clamping ring with a top-side interface for rails and adapters, these models support compact add-ons such as red dot sight platforms and other optical accessories. The interface position can be chosen during installation, which gives the user more freedom to tailor placement to the rifle and optic combination. In practice, that makes the series relevant for hunters and shooters who want a clean, adaptable mounting solution that stays compact and avoids unnecessary bulk.

About the Recknagel UNIVERSAL-Interface Aluminum Scope Ring, 34mm

The Recknagel UNIVERSAL-Interface Aluminum Scope Ring, 34mm is a specialized mounting accessory for riflescopes with a 34 mm tube, designed for shooters who want to add a secondary mounting point directly on the optic. Instead of occupying extra receiver space, the ring creates a compact platform above the scope for compatible ERA-TAC Universal Interface accessories, including Picatinny top sections and adapter solutions for red dot use. That makes it a practical choice when a rifle already carries a primary optic and still needs room for a close-range sighting option or other compact add-ons.

The design is especially useful because the radial position of the interface is freely selectable during installation. This allows the accessory to be placed where it best suits the rifle setup, whether the goal is a top-mounted red dot, offset positioning, or simply clearance around turrets and adjustment controls. The result is a more adaptable setup that can be tuned to shooting style and rifle geometry rather than forcing a fixed orientation.

Construction is equally purposeful. The ring is made from aluminium and weighs 50.00 g, so it adds functionality without introducing unnecessary mass high on the rifle. Its black finish keeps the appearance discreet and consistent with modern riflescope setups. For hunting optics and tactical optics alike, this ring offers a compact way to expand capability while keeping the overall system tidy and mechanically straightforward.

About Recknagel

Adolf Recknagel began manufacturing firearm sights in 1867 in Albrechts, near Suhl, Thuringia, establishing the roots of a company that remains closely associated with precision firearm components. Today, Recknagel is a German manufacturer known for firearm and riflescope mounting systems, sights, and hunting accessories. Its range extends across scope mounts, Picatinny rails, firearm sights, triggers, safeties, and hunting silencers, reflecting a strong focus on mechanical parts that must fit accurately and hold repeatable alignment.

In the modern market, Recknagel is particularly well known for its mounting expertise and for the ERATAC line introduced in 2010, which broadened the company’s presence in the tactical segment. The business relocated from Schweinfurt to Bergrheinfeld in 2006, and in 2022 it was acquired by Dr. Moritz Fehrer. Across its product categories, Recknagel’s reputation is built on practical engineering, precise fit, and manufacturing aimed at demanding hunting and shooting applications.
