Recknagel Polyform Lever

• Parallel lever positioning: The Polyform lever is designed so the lever can be aligned parallel in the desired end position, giving a cleaner setup and reducing the chance of the lever catching on gear or brush.
• Lightweight aluminium construction: At 5.00 g, this spare part adds almost no noticeable weight to a mount, which helps preserve the balance of a hunting or sporting rifle.
• Made for Recknagel mounts: Built as a dedicated accessory for Recknagel mounting systems, it suits repairs, refurbishment, or replacement work without changing the character of the original mount.
• Compact replacement part: This small black lever is a practical solution when restoring the function of a detachable mount, helping maintain quick handling and secure operation in the field.

About the Recknagel Accesories Series

Recknagel Accesories covers the company’s broad range of supporting parts and add-ons for hunting and sporting firearms. Within the brand’s catalog, this series sits alongside its scope mounts and sighting products and focuses on the smaller components that keep a mounting system practical, adaptable, and serviceable over time. That includes accessories, spare parts, and interface-based components intended for both hunters and gunsmiths.

A defining idea behind this product family is modularity. In Recknagel’s mounting-related accessories, parts are designed to integrate with established mount platforms rather than forcing a complete replacement when one component wears or a setup needs to be adapted. The series also reflects the company’s long-standing emphasis on hunting and sporting use, where reliability, straightforward handling, and clean mechanical design matter as much as raw strength. In practice, the range supports everything from routine maintenance to workshop fitting, helping users keep proven mounting systems in service with the correct purpose-built parts.

About the Recknagel Polyform Lever

The Recknagel Polyform Lever is a dedicated spare part for mount systems that use Recknagel’s Polyform lever concept. Its role is simple but important: it restores or maintains the handling of a detachable mount without replacing the complete assembly. For rifles used in hunting or sporting applications, that matters because the lever is one of the parts handled directly during installation and removal.

The practical advantage of the Polyform design is the ability to set the lever so it finishes in a parallel end position. That gives the mount a tidier profile and helps avoid awkward lever angles that can snag on clothing, slings, or vegetation. On a rifle that is carried often, this small detail improves day-to-day usability more than a simple fixed lever shape.

Its aluminium construction keeps weight to a minimum at 5.00 g, making it suitable for lightweight hunting setups where unnecessary mass is avoided wherever possible. The black finish matches the understated appearance expected on modern scope-mount hardware. As a spare part for Recknagel mounts, this lever is best understood as a maintenance component that helps preserve the original function, handling, and mechanical consistency of the mounting system rather than altering how the rifle is set up.

About Recknagel

Recknagel is a German manufacturer focused on firearm and riflescope mounting systems, sights, and hunting accessories. The company’s history began in 1867, when Adolf Recknagel started producing firearm sights in Albrechts near Suhl, Thuringia. Over time, the brand expanded into a wider range that includes mounts, Picatinny rails, sights, triggers, safeties, and hunting silencers.

In the modern market, Recknagel is especially well known for precise mechanical solutions for hunting and sporting rifles, as well as the ERATAC line of tactical mounts and accessories introduced in 2010. The company relocated from Schweinfurt to Bergrheinfeld in 2006, continuing its German manufacturing focus. That long background in metalworking and firearm hardware is directly relevant to small functional parts such as mount levers, where fit, repeatability, and durability matter just as much as on the complete mount itself.
