High-Resolution Thermal Sensor: The Pulsar Krypton 2 XG50 is equipped with a 640x480 thermal sensor with a 12 μm pixel pitch and NETD <40 mK, delivering exceptional image clarity even in harsh weather conditions and low thermal contrast environments.

Dual Use Capability: The device can be used both as a clip-on attachment for daytime optics and as a handheld thermal monocular thanks to the included Monocular Kit. This makes it a flexible solution for hunters, professionals, and tactical users who require multi-purpose functionality.

Bayonet Quick-Release Mount: The Krypton 2 series features Pulsar’s improved bayonet-style mounting system, which allows quick and repeatable attachment to daytime optics using PSP-B adapters. This ensures better zero retention and simpler operation in the field.

ABOUT THE KRYPTON SERIES

The Krypton series from Pulsar is engineered for users who want to convert their daytime riflescopes into thermal imaging systems with minimal adjustment and no loss of zero. Devices in this series attach via PSP-B adapters and can be detached quickly, providing both versatility and convenience.

Built for precision, durability, and ease of use, the Krypton line includes features such as onboard recording, Wi-Fi connectivity, and Stream Vision 2 app support. The latest generation brings improved ergonomics, power options, and Pulsar’s new quick-release bayonet system for faster deployment.

ABOUT THE MODEL (KRYPTON 2 XG50)

The Krypton 2 XG50 is equipped with a highly sensitive 640x480 thermal sensor with a 12 μm pixel pitch and NETD <40 mK, which ensures excellent detail recognition and thermal contrast. It uses a fast f/1.0 50 mm germanium lens to provide a detection range of up to 2300 meters.

The image is displayed on a high-resolution AMOLED screen and supports features such as Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode and multiple thermal color palettes. It delivers a stable, fluid, and detailed image suitable for both day and night use.

The unit is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery and a replaceable APS2 battery, providing extended runtime and convenient USB-C charging. The magnesium alloy housing ensures lightweight durability, while the improved control layout makes adjustments simple in any configuration.

The new bayonet-style interface allows secure, tool-free mounting to compatible PSP-B adapters, improving usability and ensuring precise alignment every time. The included monocular eyepiece adds further versatility by allowing standalone handheld operation out of the box.

The difference is that the Ultra-Slim version is designed to minimize the gap between the rifle scope and the rifle barrel. This allows for a lower and more compact mounting of the clip-on device.
