Pulsar Digex X850S IR Illuminator

1. Optimized Wavelength: The 850 nm wavelength is ideal for maximizing the performance of both digital night vision (which can detect up to 950 nm) and analog night vision devices (optimized for up to 850 nm). This ensures exceptional brightness and detail in total darkness.

2. Powerful Illumination: Equipped with a high-power LED emitter, this illuminator provides intense and consistent infrared light, significantly extending your observation and detection range. It is superior to lower-power alternatives.

3. Enhanced Compatibility: Designed specifically to integrate with Pulsar Digex digital night vision riflescopes, offering a streamlined setup and optimal performance without the need for additional adapters. This ensures a balanced and effective night vision system.

4. Stealth Considerations: While offering superior illumination, the 850 nm wavelength can produce a faint, detectable red glow at the emitter. IR illuminators with wavelengths under 875 nm can be detected by sensitive animals like wild boar and deer if pointed directly at them from within 50 meters, making longer-range use more discreet.

ABOUT THE PULSAR DIGEX X850S IR ILLUMINATOR

The Pulsar Digex X850S IR Illuminator represents a significant advancement in night vision accessory technology, differentiating itself through its specific optimization for the Digex series of digital night vision scopes. This model is engineered to provide superior illumination, utilizing a robust 850 nm wavelength LED emitter. This particular wavelength is highly effective because it delivers more powerful and visible infrared light to the sensor, making it ideal for various applications including hunting, tactical operations, and sport shooting. It excels in delivering a brighter image for both digital night vision devices, which can typically detect wavelengths up to 950 nm, and analog night vision devices, which are most sensitive to infrared light up to 850 nm. While the 850 nm wavelength offers exceptional performance, it's important to note that IR illuminators with wavelengths under 875 nm can produce a faint red glow that may be detected by keen-eyed animals like wild boar and deer if pointed directly at them from moderate ranges, typically up to 50 meters. The choice of a high-power LED emitter ensures durability and consistent performance in challenging conditions, making it a reliable addition to your night vision setup.
