Primary Arms Flip To Side Magnifier Mount

• Flip-to-side action: The mount lets a 30 mm magnifier move quickly between the optical axis and an offset position, so the shooter can switch from magnified aiming to an unmagnified red dot view without removing equipment.
• 30 mm ring interface: Built for 30 mm magnifiers, it gives a straightforward way to pair common magnifier bodies with a Picatinny-mounted red dot setup.
• Aluminium construction: The aluminium body keeps weight under control while providing the rigidity needed to hold alignment during regular field use and repeated transitions.
• Picatinny rail compatibility: Designed for Picatinny rails, it fits a wide range of rifles and carbines, making it easy to integrate into modern sporting, tactical, or duty-style platforms.
• Black low-profile finish: The black finish keeps the mount visually discreet and matches typical red dot and magnifier combinations for a clean, unified setup.

About the Primary Arms Mounts Series

Primary Arms Mounts is a broad mounting family built to cover the practical needs of modern optic users, from scope mounts and rings to red-dot risers and magnifier mounts. Within the lineup, the emphasis is on giving shooters mounting solutions for different optic formats and rail standards rather than forcing one pattern to do every job. The series includes mounts for scopes, magnifiers, and red-dot optics, with compatibility across formats such as 1-inch, 30 mm, and 34 mm tubes as well as M1913 Picatinny interfaces.

That variety makes the series relevant to users setting up hunting optics, range rifles, defensive carbines, and general-purpose sporting firearms. In the magnifier segment, the family includes flip-to-side designs that let the shooter move a magnifier between an in-line aiming position and an offset parked position. Across the wider series, Primary Arms also offers different attachment styles, including cross-bolt and thumb-screw configurations, reflecting a design approach centered on straightforward installation, secure fit, and compatibility with common optic footprints. The result is a practical mount range intended to simplify optic setup rather than add unnecessary complexity.

About the Primary Arms Flip To Side Magnifier Mount

The Primary Arms Flip To Side Magnifier Mount is a dedicated 30 mm magnifier mount for shooters who want the flexibility of a magnified red dot setup without committing to magnification all the time. Its core advantage is the flip-to-side mechanism: when magnification is needed, the magnifier stays aligned behind the red dot; when a wider, faster sight picture is more useful, the magnifier can be moved out of the way. That makes this style of mount especially useful on carbines set up for mixed distances, where target engagement can change quickly.

The mount is built from aluminium, which helps balance durability with manageable weight. In practice, that matters because a magnifier already adds bulk behind the primary sight, so the mount needs to stay solid without making the rifle unnecessarily heavy. The black finish keeps the assembly visually unobtrusive and pairs naturally with most red dots and magnifiers.

Compatibility with the Picatinny rail standard gives the mount broad usefulness across many rifle platforms, including modern sporting and tactical-style firearms. The 30 mm ring size is suited to magnifiers that use this common body diameter, making it a straightforward choice for building a red dot and magnifier combination. For users who want fast transitions between close-range speed and added target detail at distance, this mount provides the mechanical link that makes that setup practical.

About Primary Arms

Primary Arms Optics was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Houston, Texas. The company is known for developing optics and related equipment for practical rifle use, with a catalog that includes rifle scopes, prism scopes, red dot sights, mounts, and accessories. One of its best-known contributions is the ACSS reticle system, which helped establish the brand among shooters looking for optics with application-specific aiming features.

Beyond reticle design, Primary Arms has also introduced technologies such as AutoLive motion-sensing illumination and has built its optics range into distinct product families including PLx, GLx, SLx, and CLx. Alongside product design and manufacturing, the company also operates e-commerce, wholesale distribution, and government sales divisions. In the mounting category, that broader optics focus is relevant because Primary Arms develops mounts to work as practical companions to the sighting systems it offers.
