Pachmayr Gripper Universal Slip on Grip

• Universal slip-on fit: The Gripper Universal Slip on Grip is shaped to fit a wide range of medium to full size pistols, making it a practical upgrade for shooters who want better handling without permanent modification.
• Non-slip textured surface: The textured outer surface helps maintain a secure hold in wet, sweaty, or cold conditions, improving control during rapid strings and routine range use.
• Palm swells and finger grooves: Built-in palm swells and finger grooves give the hand a fuller, more repeatable purchase, which can make the pistol feel steadier and more comfortable under recoil.
• Trim-to-fit design: Molded trim lines allow the grip sleeve to be adjusted for a cleaner custom fit on compatible frames, helping it sit more neatly on different handgun profiles.
• Durable polymer construction: The polymer body stands up well to regular handling and field use while adding grip without the bulk of a full replacement frame or grip panel set.

About the Pachmayr Accessories Series

Pachmayr Accessories covers a broad range of practical shooting components, from handgun and revolver grips to rifle grips and recoil pads for long guns. Within the brand’s lineup, this series focuses on straightforward functional upgrades that improve handling, comfort, and control rather than changing the basic operation of the firearm. That makes it especially relevant for shooters who want a better interface with the gun for training, carry, hunting, or general range use.

A defining trait of the series is its emphasis on grip shape, surface texture, and recoil management. Pachmayr’s handgun grip designs grew out of the company’s long history with rubber shooting accessories, while current options span simple slip-on sleeves, more structured tactical patterns, and traditional laminate styles. Across the range, the design philosophy stays consistent: secure purchase, practical ergonomics, and easy installation where possible. In products such as the slip-on models, that means adding traction and hand-filling contour to popular pistol frames without requiring gunsmithing, making the series a sensible fit for shooters who value dependable handling improvements.

About the Pachmayr Gripper Universal Slip on Grip

The Pachmayr Gripper Universal Slip on Grip is a simple handgun accessory built to improve purchase on compatible pistols without replacing factory parts. Its main advantage is the universal medium-to-full-size fit, which lets one grip sleeve work across a broad selection of popular handgun frames. For shooters using polymer-frame pistols, this is an easy way to add more traction and a fuller feel in the hand while keeping the pistol’s original dimensions largely intact.

The grip’s non-slip texture is designed to help the hand stay planted during recoil and during fast follow-up shots. That matters not only on the range, but also in cold weather, rain, or long practice sessions where smooth factory frames can begin to feel less secure. The added palm swells and finger grooves give the hand more indexing points, which can support more consistent grip placement from draw to draw. Recessed areas behind the finger grooves also help the sleeve work across different frame shapes, including pistols with or without molded front-strap grooves.

Another practical detail is the trim-to-fit construction. Molded trim lines allow the sleeve to be adjusted for a cleaner fit on certain models, which is useful when working with slight differences in frame length or contour. At 115.00 g and made from polymer, it remains a compact, durable addition for shooters who want better control and a more secure feel from their handgun grip.

About Pachmayr

Pachmayr was founded by Frank Pachmayr in 1929 and built its reputation around practical shooting accessories for handguns, rifles, and shotguns. The company introduced its first recoil pad in 1949, and Pachmayr rubber handgun grips followed in the early 1960s, helping establish the brand as a familiar name in firearm handling and recoil-control products. Its catalog has since expanded to include handgun grips, recoil pads, gunsmithing tools, and related accessories for sporting and defensive firearms.

The brand became part of Lyman in 1996, linking Pachmayr’s long-standing grip and recoil expertise with one of the established names in shooting equipment. Pachmayr is also known for using Decelerator material in recoil-reducing products and for maintaining a strong focus on ergonomics and field durability. That background is directly relevant to products such as slip-on handgun grips, where secure handling, comfort, and practical fit matter more than cosmetic change.
