Osuma Blaser Adapter, Picatinny Rail Product description

  • Blaser-to-Picatinny conversion: This adapter lets a rifle or platform with a Picatinny rail use a Blaser-style quick-detachable mounting system, making it easier to swap optics while keeping the mounting concept consistent across different setups.
  • Low 8.50 mm build height: The compact profile helps keep the optic close to the bore, which supports a more natural cheek weld and a more controlled sight picture on hunting and sporting rifles.
  • 0 MOA alignment: With no built-in inclination, the adapter suits general-purpose mounting where a neutral base is preferred for conventional zeroing and everyday field use.
  • Aluminium construction: The aluminium body keeps weight down while still providing the rigidity needed for a stable optic interface, which matters when a mount is removed and reinstalled repeatedly.
  • Made in Finland: Finnish manufacture reflects Osuma’s focus on practical rifle-mounting hardware, with a design approach aimed at straightforward installation and dependable use in demanding outdoor conditions.

About the Osuma Blaser Adapters Series

Osuma Blaser Adapters are built to convert a conventional scope-mounting interface into a Blaser-style mounting platform. Within the Osuma lineup, this series serves shooters who want the speed and convenience of the Blaser quick-detachable concept on rifles that were not originally built around that system. The family includes versions for several rifle models as well as a Picatinny rail variant, giving it broad relevance across hunting and sporting applications.

A defining characteristic of the series is its practical approach to optic changes. Osuma positions these adapters as a way to switch sights without needing to re-zero after every change, which is especially useful when one rifle may be used with different optics for driven hunting, general stalking, or range work. The adapters are designed to attach with screws to pre-drilled holes, keeping the system mechanically simple and focused on secure fitment. Across the series, the emphasis is on compatibility, repeatable mounting, and a straightforward path to using Blaser-style mounts on non-Blaser platforms.

About the Osuma Blaser Adapter, Picatinny Rail

The Osuma Blaser Adapter, Picatinny Rail is intended for shooters who already have a rifle or chassis equipped with a Picatinny rail and want to move to a Blaser-style quick-detachable optic setup. Rather than replacing the rifle’s existing rail arrangement, this adapter creates the interface needed to add an Osuma Blaser base on top, making it a practical solution for mixed rifle collections or for users standardising around one mounting system.

Its 8.50 mm height and 94.00 mm length keep the design compact and neutral. In practice, that means the adapter adds the required interface without introducing unnecessary bulk, helping preserve sensible optic height and handling. The 0 MOA inclination suits general-purpose zeroing and avoids forcing the setup toward a specialised long-range configuration. Because there is no windage adjustment built into the adapter, the design stays simple and solid, which is often preferable in a fixed interface whose main job is to provide consistent alignment.

Construction is centred on aluminium, chosen to keep the mount light while still suitable for regular field use. This matters on hunting rifles and practical sporting setups where excess weight at the top of the rifle can affect balance. Finished in black and made in Finland, the adapter follows Osuma’s functional mounting philosophy: give the shooter a clean, low-profile way to use Blaser-style quick-detachable optics on a Picatinny-based platform.

About Osuma

Osuma is a Finland-based brand specialising in rifle scope mounting. Its history goes back to the early 1990s, when the company owner developed the first scope mounts for his own hunting and benchrest shooting needs. That practical origin still defines the brand’s product philosophy, with an emphasis on secure fit, straightforward function, and designs shaped by real shooting use rather than by unnecessary complexity.

Over time, the company passed from father to son and expanded its catalogue to more than 150 products. The range includes scope mounts, scope rings, rail mounts, red-dot and holosight mounts, suppressors, and accessories such as the Trigger Widener. Osuma is known for offering mounting solutions across several common interfaces, including 11 mm, Tikka 17 mm, Sako, Picatinny, Optilock, and Blaser systems. Its products are designed and manufactured in Finland, with aluminium components and anodized finishes used across key mounting lines.

Hello
I want to buy a Mercury Rover G2, but it has a split Picatinny rail.
Would the adapter fit there, or would the scope be too far forward or too close to the eye?
Thank you very much in advance
Best regards
Maier Josef
Hallo
Ich w7ll mir eine Mercury Rover G2 kaufen die hat aber eine geteilte Picatinny schiene .
Würde der adapter dort passen oder kommt das ZF zu weit vor oder zu nah ans Auge
Vielen Dank im Voraus
MFG
Maier Josef

Dear Sir,

As you already suspect, we would not recommend the Osuma Blaser adapter for the Mercury Rover G2, as the position of the scope may not be optimal.

Instead, we recommend standard Picatinny rings or Picatinny quick-release rings, which are mounted directly on the existing Picatinny rail:

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at [email protected].

Kind regards,
Sehr geehrter Herr!

Hello
I would be very interested in the adapter.
How many Nm are the screws tightened to?
How many joules can the mount withstand?
Kind regards
Maier Josef
Hallo
mich würde der adapter sehr intresieren.
Mit wieviel Nm werden die Schrauben angezogen?
Wieviel Joul hält die montage aus?
Mfg
Maier Josef

by Josef Maier

Dear Sir,

For the screws, we recommend a tightening torque of approx. 5 Nm.

We do not have an exact manufacturer specification for the maximum load capacity in joules. However, we can confirm that the mount is designed and suitable for all common hunting calibers.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at [email protected].

Kind regards,
Sehr geehrter Herr!

Hello Team Osuma, as I am about to buy a Steel Action HM I would like to ask you if it is possible to mount a Blaser adapter on this gun. As you can see from the attached picture, the Picatinny rail on this weapon is split in two. Therefore, in order to be able to mount the adapter centrally above the cartridge chamber, I would need a longer adapter with 2 Picatinny clamps. Can you help me with my request? Thank you for your efforts Thomas

by Thomas

Dear Sir,

thank you for contacting us.

You would indeed need a longer mounting solution with two Picatinny clamps, one on each side. However, at the moment, this is the only Osuma Blaser Adapter for Picatinny on our offer. We kindly ask you to contact us at [email protected] where our team of experts will help you find a solution to your problem.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards
