ABOUT THE NOCPIX ACE 2 SERIES

The Nocpix ACE 2 series consists of high-performance thermal imaging riflescopes developed for hunters who require detailed thermal observation, integrated distance measurement, and practical electronic functions. The series includes the H35R, H50R, and S60R, providing different sensor resolutions and optical configurations for a variety of hunting environments.

All three models use high-sensitivity thermal detectors with NETD ≤12 mK, allowing them to distinguish subtle temperature differences. This helps preserve useful image contrast when observing wildlife against vegetation, terrain, and other backgrounds under challenging environmental conditions.

The series incorporates R+ 2.0 image processing, which uses AI-assisted enhancement to improve the presentation of fine thermal details. Dual Clarity Mode offers separate Motion and Still settings, allowing users to adapt image processing to moving targets or relatively stationary scenes.

Another defining feature is Ocular Zoom 2.0, which combines optical eyepiece magnification with electronic enlargement. This technology works alongside the circular 2560 x 2560 AMOLED display to provide a detailed viewing image and maintain comfortable observation across different zoom settings.

The ACE 2 family also incorporates LRF 2.0 laser ranging and BC 2.0 ballistic calculation. These systems provide distance information and calculated aiming corrections through the integrated electronic interface.

Additional functions include target tracking, customizable controls, photo and video recording, recoil-activated video capture, 64 GB of internal storage, and 5 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity.

The series features magnesium alloy construction, IP67 protection, and a dual-battery power system designed to support prolonged outdoor observation.

ABOUT THE NOCPIX ACE 2 S60R

The Nocpix ACE 2 S60R is the highest-resolution model in the ACE 2 thermal riflescope series. Combining a 1280 x 1024 thermal detector with a 60 mm F1.0 objective lens, it is designed for hunters who prioritize detailed thermal observation, extensive detection capability, and a wide field of view.

The riflescope uses a 1280 x 1024 VOx thermal sensor with a 12 µm pixel pitch and NETD ≤12 mK. Compared with a 640 x 512 thermal detector, the sensor contains four times as many pixels. This higher resolution allows the system to capture substantially more thermal image information, making fine details easier to distinguish and helping preserve image quality when magnification is increased.

The high thermal sensitivity allows the S60R to detect small temperature differences, improving the visibility of animals and environmental details when thermal contrast is limited. This can be particularly beneficial in rain, fog, humid conditions, and environments where background temperatures approach those of the observed subject.

The S60R supports 30 Hz and 60 Hz operating modes, allowing the frame rate to be adapted to the selected configuration. Higher frame rates support smoother reproduction of moving subjects, while the device's image processing system helps maintain a clear and detailed thermal picture.

The 60 mm F1.0 objective lens provides a detection range of up to 3100 metres for a standard-sized target under the manufacturer's specified conditions. This represents the maximum theoretical detection distance rather than a guaranteed range for recognizing individual animal species or identifying fine characteristics.

Despite its large objective lens, the S60R retains a wide field of view of 14.7 x 11.7 degrees, equivalent to 25.6 x 20.5 metres at 100 metres. The combination of a high-resolution sensor and large objective allows it to cover a wider area than the H50R while still offering substantial image detail.

This makes the S60R suitable for both scanning open landscapes and examining distant subjects. The wide viewing area allows users to locate animals efficiently, while the sensor's high pixel count supports closer examination through additional magnification.

The riflescope incorporates Ocular Zoom 2.0, providing 2x to 4x basic optical magnification with additional electronic enlargement up to 28x. The hybrid system combines optical eyepiece magnification with digital zoom, allowing users to increase the apparent size of the thermal image while maintaining the aiming reference.

The image is presented through a 2560 x 2560 AMOLED display. Its circular viewing format provides a familiar riflescope-like perspective, while the high pixel count supports detailed image reproduction. A 60 mm eye relief and 10 mm exit pupil provide a comfortable viewing position during extended observation.

The S60R uses the upgraded R+ 2.0 AI image processing system to improve thermal contrast, reduce unwanted image noise, and enhance the visibility of fine details. This processing can help distinguish environmental features and animal outlines in scenes with complex backgrounds.

The device also features Dual Clarity Mode, which provides two image-processing configurations. Motion Mode is intended for observing moving targets with smooth image reproduction, while Still Mode prioritizes the visibility of fine details when the scene is relatively stationary.

The centrally positioned focus adjustment wheel allows users to change image focus without moving their hand to the objective lens. This makes it easier to maintain a stable viewing position when switching between subjects at different distances.

The integrated LRF 2.0 laser rangefinder measures distances up to 1200 metres with a specified accuracy of ±1 metre. The rangefinder is aligned with the optical axis, allowing distance measurements to be obtained directly through the riflescope.

The BC 2.0 ballistic calculation system processes relevant information, including distance, inclination, wind-related inputs, and configured ballistic parameters. This provides calculated aiming information through the device's electronic interface, helping users evaluate the required corrections for different target distances.

Another feature is intelligent target tracking, which combines ranging information with the electronic compass to generate coordinates associated with a measured target position. This information can assist with locating previously measured positions in the field.

The S60R supports photo recording, video recording, and recoil-activated video capture. The recording system allows users to document observations, while the integrated gallery provides direct playback and review of saved footage.

The device has 64 GB of internal memory, providing local storage for images and recordings. Wireless communication is available through 5 GHz Wi-Fi, allowing the riflescope to connect to the Nocpix application for transferring recorded media and managing supported functions.

The upgraded Wi-Fi system supports data transfer speeds of up to 20 MB/s under suitable conditions. The device also supports convenient app pairing and customizable button functions, allowing users to adapt certain controls to their preferences.

Power is supplied by a dual-battery system combining a built-in 3650 mAh battery with a replaceable 18650 battery. The manufacturer specifies up to seven hours of operation at 22°C. Actual battery life depends on ambient temperature and the frequency of rangefinding, recording, and wireless functions.

The housing is manufactured from magnesium alloy, providing a rigid structure while maintaining a weight below one kilogram. With a specified weight of 980 grams, the S60R remains relatively manageable despite its high-resolution sensor and large objective lens.

The device features IP67 ingress protection, providing resistance to dust and temporary water immersion. It supports operation in temperatures from -20°C to +50°C and is rated to withstand recoil energy up to 7000 J.

Measuring 397 x 73 x 92 mm, the S60R maintains a conventional riflescope-style configuration suitable for compatible mounting systems. Its combination of high-resolution thermal imaging, integrated laser ranging, and magnesium construction provides a comprehensive thermal observation platform.

With its 1280 x 1024 sensor, 60 mm F1.0 objective, 3100-metre detection range, Ocular Zoom 2.0, and integrated ballistic technology, the Nocpix ACE 2 S60R is particularly suitable for hunters who prioritize maximum thermal image detail and versatile observation across large areas.
