Nikko Stirling Target Master 4-16x44

• 4-16x magnification range: The wide zoom span covers precise paper punching at higher power while remaining practical for shorter-range target work and small-game or rimfire use at the low end.
• Side-focus parallax adjustment: Adjustment from 9.1 m to infinity helps keep the target and reticle on the same optical plane, which makes fine aiming more consistent at varying distances.
• Target-style turrets with 1/4 MOA clicks: Clear, repeatable click adjustments and a multi-turn layout suit shooters who dial corrections rather than relying only on holdover.
• Half Mil Dot SFP reticle: The glass-etched reticle gives a clean aiming reference and practical hold points, while the second focal plane layout keeps the reticle size visually constant through the zoom range.
• Nitrogen-filled 1-inch tube: The 25.4 mm one-piece design, multicoated lenses, and waterproof, fogproof, shockproof construction make the scope easier to trust in changing weather and regular range use.

About the Nikko Stirling Targetmaster 1inch Series

The Nikko Stirling Targetmaster 1inch series sits in the brand’s rifle-scope range as a practical line for shooters who want repeatable adjustment control in a traditional 1-inch format. The series is built around a one-piece aircraft-grade aluminum tube, giving it the familiar mounting footprint many rimfire and sporting rifles already use, while still providing the mechanical stability expected from a target-oriented optic.

Across the range, Nikko Stirling pairs fully multicoated lenses with nitrogen-purged construction that is described as waterproof, dustproof, and fogproof. That combination is aimed at maintaining usable contrast and a clear sight picture in damp or changeable conditions, whether the scope is used on the range or in the field. The series is also defined by 1/4 MOA click adjustments and lockable zero-retention rings, reflecting a design focus on consistent, repeatable accuracy rather than purely hunting-style simplicity. Reticle options in the series include the Half Mil Dot pattern, giving shooters a familiar reference for holdover and aiming precision.

About the Nikko Stirling Target Master 4-16x44

The Nikko Stirling Target Master 4-16x44 is configured for shooters who need one riflescope to cover both moderate and more deliberate precision work. Its 4-16x magnification range gives enough flexibility for close-to-mid-distance target shooting at the low end, while the upper end provides the image scale needed for careful shot placement on small targets. The 44 mm objective lens keeps the scope compact enough for balanced rifle handling while still supporting a bright, usable image across the zoom range.

This model uses a second focal plane Half Mil Dot reticle, which keeps the reticle visually consistent as magnification changes. In practice, that makes the sight picture less cluttered at high power and easier to pick up quickly at lower settings. The reticle is not intended for daytime illumination use, so the scope stays focused on a clean, conventional target-shooting layout. A side-focus parallax system adjustable from 9.1 m to infinity is especially useful on rimfire rifles and target setups, where small aiming errors become obvious at shorter distances.

The turret system is equally important to how this scope works. 1/4 MOA clicks, multi-turn tactical turrets, and 30 MOA of elevation and windage adjustment support shooters who prefer dialing corrections for distance or zero refinement. With 90.00 mm to 100.00 mm eye relief, a 369.00 mm overall length, and a weight of 621.00 g, the scope remains manageable on target rifles, rimfire rifles, and general-purpose precision setups.

About Nikko Stirling

Nikko Stirling traces its inception to 1956, when it was established by Malcolm John Fuller. The brand is known for specializing in sport optics for hunters and marksmen, with a catalog centered on rifle scopes and supported by related optics such as binoculars, reflex sights, and laser rangefinders. Its rifle-scope families include Diamond Hunting, Diamond FFP, Metor, Panamax, Airking, and Mountmaster, showing a broad focus that spans hunting optics, target shooting, and general sporting use.

Within that wider lineup, Nikko Stirling has also developed products such as the NSLRF laser rangefinder range, the Metor HD binocular line, and reflex sights including the PRO-T5, PRO-T4, and XT4. That mix reflects a company identity built around practical field and shooting optics rather than a single niche, which helps explain the straightforward, function-first design approach seen in scopes like the Targetmaster series.
