MDT ACC Elite Chassis Base, Remington 700 LA CIP 3.850 Product description

  • Competition-focused chassis layout: The MDT ACC Elite platform is built for match shooting, giving a stable foundation that supports consistent positional work and controlled recoil management on precision rifles.
  • Arca and M-Lok forend: The integrated Arca, M-Lok forend makes it easier to mount bipods, tripods, barricade accessories, and weights, so the rifle can be configured for different stages without changing the chassis.
  • AICS magazine compatibility: Support for AICS-pattern magazines keeps this chassis practical for competition and precision setups, with broad magazine availability and a familiar feeding standard.
  • AR-15 grip compatibility: The chassis accepts AR-15 style grips, allowing the rifle to be tailored for trigger reach, hand angle, and overall comfort during long strings of fire.
  • Rigid aluminium construction: Its aluminium body provides the stiffness needed for repeatable accuracy while keeping the system durable enough for regular transport, match use, and hard field handling.

About the MDT ACC Elite Series

MDT introduced the ACC Elite in December 2022 as a competition-oriented chassis family for shooters who want a purpose-built platform for precision-rifle matches. Within MDT’s lineup, the series sits as a more advanced match chassis, shaped around rifle balance, positional control, and a high degree of fit adjustment rather than general hunting use. It is intended primarily for precision-rifle competition, where stability on barricades, fast support-hand placement, and a repeatable shooting position matter as much as raw mechanical accuracy.

A defining characteristic of the series is its full-length ARCA forend combined with a system for adjusting rifle weight, allowing the rifle to be tuned for different stage styles and recoil behavior. MDT also built in practical match features such as an adjustable M-LOK thumb rest, an adjustable magazine latch, and an RRS Lock interface beneath the forend. The chassis structure uses a connector bar between the grip and buttstock and a reinforced forend to increase rigidity. Across the series, MDT pairs this mechanical stiffness with ergonomic refinement through the SRS-X Elite buttstock and Vertical Grip Elite, both designed with multiple adjustment points to help shooters achieve a consistent head position and natural trigger control.

About the MDT ACC Elite Chassis Base, Remington 700 LA CIP 3.850

The MDT ACC Elite Chassis Base, Remington 700 LA CIP 3.850 is configured for Remington 700 long-action rifles using the CIP 3.850 magazine standard, making it a strong fit for precision shooters building a long-action competition rifle around extended cartridge overall lengths. That format is especially relevant when a rifle is set up for disciplines where reliable feeding, heavy-barrel compatibility, and a stable shooting platform are more important than minimum carry weight. With a maximum barrel diameter of 34.29 mm, the chassis is suited to substantial barrel profiles often chosen for heat control and consistent point of impact during long shot strings.

This version uses an aluminium chassis body to provide the stiffness expected from a dedicated match platform. In practice, that rigidity helps the action remain consistently supported and gives the shooter a more predictable feel when loading a bipod, pressing into barricades, or tracking recoil through the shot. The Arca, M-Lok forend broadens setup options for modern competition use, whether the rifle is carried on a tripod, fitted with external weights, or adapted with accessory rails and support hardware. The XTN Interface at the rear keeps the chassis compatible with MDT’s buttstock ecosystem, while AR-15 style grip compatibility makes it easier to tune grip angle and hand position to the shooter’s preference.

At 1360.00 g and 683.00 mm in length, this fixed chassis is clearly aimed at controlled, deliberate shooting rather than compact carry. The non-folding layout favors simplicity and rigidity, and AICS magazine compatibility keeps the rifle aligned with one of the most common magazine standards in precision shooting.

About MDT

MDT Sporting Goods was established in 2009 and began in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada. The company focuses on rifle chassis systems and related equipment for target shooting and hunting, with a product range that includes chassis, stocks, magazines, bipods, scope bases, and scope rings. MDT identifies the TAC21 as its first chassis, which reflects how central chassis design has been to the company from the start.

MDT develops its products with input from competitive precision shooters, and that background shows in the way its chassis systems emphasize adjustability, modularity, and practical match use. The company’s expertise is centered on turning conventional bolt-action rifles into more adaptable shooting platforms, with attention to fit, accessory mounting, and compatibility across different rifle actions and shooting disciplines.
