Maven RS3 5-30x50

• 5-30x magnification range: Covers the gap between precise close-to-mid distance shot placement and confident long-range dialing, so one riflescope can handle varied terrain and changing shot opportunities.
• First focal plane reticle: The reticle stays proportional through the zoom range, which keeps holdovers and ranging references consistent at any magnification.
• Locking tactical turrets with zero stop: Exposed turrets make elevation corrections fast and repeatable, while the lock and zero-stop system help prevent accidental movement and speed up a return to baseline.
• 50 mm objective with fully multicoated lenses: The large objective and coatings support a bright, high-contrast image, which helps when picking detail from dark backgrounds or shooting in weak light.
• Side parallax adjustment from 20y to infinity: Fine parallax control sharpens the target image and reduces aiming error across a wide range of distances.

About the Maven RS3 Series

The Maven RS3 series was developed as Maven’s first long-range hunting riflescope, shaped with input from PRS shooters, long-range hunters, and other experienced users. That background gives the series a practical balance between hunting portability and the dialing precision expected from tactical-style optics. Across the line, the concept centers on a 5-30x magnification range in a first focal plane layout, giving shooters enough low-end versatility for closer shots while preserving the magnification needed for careful shot placement at distance.

The series also stands out for combining ED glass with a 50 mm objective lens, a pairing intended to deliver strong contrast, good color fidelity, and the resolution needed to read terrain, antlers, or small target details at longer ranges. Shared mechanical features include exposed adjustment turrets, a lockable zero stop, and side parallax adjustment, all aimed at shooters who expect to dial rather than rely only on simple holdover. Reticle options in both MOA and MIL formats further position the RS3 family for users who want a hunting scope with the layout and controls of a serious long-range optic.

About the Maven RS3 5-30x50

The Maven RS3 5-30x50 is built for shooters who want a riflescope that can move from practical field use to deliberate long-range work without changing optics. Its 5-30x zoom range gives it unusual flexibility: lower magnification remains useful when the target appears suddenly or the terrain is tight, while the upper end supports careful aiming on small targets or distant game. Paired with a 50 mm objective and 90% light transmission, the scope is configured to maintain a bright, usable image when contrast and detail matter most.

The first focal plane reticle is a key part of how this model works in practice. Because the reticle scales with magnification, holdovers and reference marks remain true throughout the zoom range, which is especially useful for shooters who alternate between dialing and reticle-based corrections. This model uses non-illuminated reticle operation, keeping the sight picture clean and mechanically straightforward for daylight hunting and target shooting.

Mechanically, the RS3 5-30x50 is set up like a true dialing scope. Locking tactical turrets, a zero stop, and 15 MOA / 6 MRAD per turn support fast elevation changes with a clear return to zero. The available adjustment range of 79.00 MOA elevation and 50.00 MOA windage gives the scope enough travel for extended-range setups. Side parallax adjustment from 20y to infinity helps keep the image sharp and minimizes aiming error across changing distances, while the fast-focus eyepiece speeds up reticle focus when the rifle is handed from one shooter to another or moved between field positions.

About Maven

Maven Outdoor Equipment Company was founded in 2013 in Lander, Wyoming. The company focuses on sporting optics and sells directly to consumers, with a catalog that includes binoculars, spotting scopes, riflescopes, rangefinders, and monoculars. Within that lineup, Maven is known for building product families that separate use cases clearly, from accessible polymer-framed binoculars to higher-grade optics that use Japanese components.

For premium lines, Maven places emphasis on materials, optical quality, and inspection standards. Its B and S Series optics use Japanese components and are assembled in a military-standard facility in San Diego, while inspection and testing are carried out at the company’s Lander headquarters. That mix of Wyoming-based product direction and Japanese-sourced optical expertise is central to Maven’s reputation in hunting and field optics, particularly for users who want straightforward, purpose-built equipment rather than an overly broad catalog.
