March-X 8-80x56 High Master Majesta GenII Product description

  • 80x top-end magnification: The March-X 8-80x56 High Master Majesta GenII reaches an exceptionally high magnification range, giving target, Field Target and F-Class shooters the image scale needed for precise aiming and more confident hold evaluation at long distance.
  • High Master lens system: Super ED and high-refractive-index lens elements are used to improve resolution and control shimmer, helping the image stay cleaner and more readable when mirage and fine target detail matter most.
  • Wide-angle eyepiece: The 25 degree wide-angle eyepiece makes the sight picture feel less restrictive at high power, which helps with target acquisition, spotting trace and maintaining a more natural view through the scope.
  • Locking Shuriken turrets with zero stop: The tactical turret system combines positive adjustment feel, a lock mechanism and zero stop, so dialed corrections are easier to manage under match pressure and simpler to return to zero reliably.
  • Side focus from 9.1 m to infinity: Close parallax adjustment supports accurate ranging and sharp focus for Field Target use, while still covering long-range shooting disciplines where exact focus and parallax control are critical.

About the March X Series

March X is March’s second-focal-plane riflescope series built around a 34 mm tube and designed for shooters who need very high magnification without giving up a broad zoom range. In the March lineup, this family sits as the company’s specialist high-power series for disciplines where precise aiming, careful range estimation and exact shot correction matter more than compact size. March lists the series for Field Target competition, F-Class, long-range benchrest, silhouette shooting, tactical use, varmint hunting and air-rifle applications.

A defining trait of the series is its 10x zoom ratio paired with a 56 mm objective lens across the listed variants, giving the shooter flexibility to move from a wider view to extreme target detail within one optic. The range includes 5-50x56, 10-60x56 High Master and 8-80x56 models. In practical use, that makes the March X family especially suitable where changing distances, mirage conditions and target sizes demand frequent magnification changes. The series is known for combining high-power optical design with competition-oriented features, and the High Master versions add March’s more advanced lens system for shooters who place a premium on image refinement at the top end of the magnification range.

About the March-X 8-80x56 High Master Majesta GenII

The March-X 8-80x56 High Master Majesta GenII is a specialist high-magnification riflescope built for shooters who want maximum image scale for disciplines such as Field Target, long-range benchrest and other precision applications where tiny aiming points and exact focus are part of the job. Its 8-80x range gives it unusual flexibility: lower settings provide a more manageable field of view for finding the target, while the 80x top end is there for reading pellet or bullet placement, refining hold and judging fine target detail when conditions allow.

This model stands out within the March X family by combining the High Master lens system with a wide-angle optical layout. March pairs Super ED lenses and high-refractive-index elements with a Temperature Anti-Drift Lens System and shimmer protection, all of which are aimed at keeping the image more stable, sharp and usable when heat haze and changing ambient conditions begin to challenge lesser high-power optics. The 56 mm objective supports brightness, while the fast-focus eyepiece helps the shooter tune the reticle image quickly before settling behind the rifle.

The scope uses an illuminated SFP reticle, which keeps the reticle visually consistent throughout the zoom range. That is especially useful for shooters who prefer a familiar reticle appearance at every magnification and who spend much of their time working at the upper end of the power band. The Shuriken locking turrets add a practical tactical-style adjustment system with zero stop and multi-turn travel, helping prevent accidental movement while still allowing deliberate dialing. A side-focus parallax system from 9.1 m to infinity further underlines the Majesta GenII’s role as a serious precision and hunting optics crossover for exacting long-range work.

About March

DEON Optical Design Corporation was established in 2004 in Japan and is the company behind the March brand of custom rifle scopes. The company is headquartered in Chino, Nagano Prefecture, and March scopes are designed by DEON and assembled in Japan using Japanese-made components. Its product families include March-FX, March-X, Genesis and High Master models, covering benchrest, long-range, tactical and specialist competition use.

March has built its reputation around highly specialized riflescopes with unusually wide zoom ratios and competition-focused optical design. DEON introduced its first March 40×52 mm benchrest scope in 2007, and later expanded the range with technologies such as Super ED lenses. In the High Master system, March combines Super ED and high-refractive-index lens elements to improve image quality for demanding high-magnification shooting. The Genesis line is also notable for its external adjustment system, showing the company’s emphasis on purpose-built engineering rather than broad mass-market designs.
