MAKflex One-Piece Pivot Mount for EAW Base Plates, 30 mm

• One-piece pivot design: The one-piece bridge keeps both rings aligned on a single body, which helps maintain consistent scope positioning and simplifies installation on a hunting rifle or break-action firearm.
• Built for EAW type pivot bases: Compatibility with EAW type pivot bases makes this mount a practical choice for rifles already set up for that interface, allowing a secure pivot-mounted scope installation without changing the base system.
• 30 mm ring configuration: The 30 mm ring size fits many modern riflescopes and gives solid clamping support for optics commonly used in hunting and general sporting applications.
• Aluminium construction: The aluminium body keeps weight under control while still providing the rigidity needed for repeatable scope mounting and dependable field use.
• Made in Germany: German manufacture reflects MAK’s focus on precise machining and consistent fit, which matters when a pivot mount must return the optic to the same position after removal and reattachment.

About the MAKflex Series

MAKflex is MAK’s modular pivot bridge mount series for rifles and break-action firearms. The concept is built around flexibility: the series is offered in different configurations for scope tubes and optic interfaces including 30 mm rings, Picatinny, Zeiss, Swarovski, and Aimpoint Micro footprints. That makes the line suitable for hunters and sporting users who want a pivot-style mounting system matched to a specific optic rather than a one-format solution.

A key characteristic of the series is its modular approach. MAKflex variants are available with different pivot-foot options and are made for mounting standards such as EAW base plates, Merkel mounts, Leupold Quick Release bases, and original Steyr mounts. The range also includes a MAKflex Short version, while locking options include either a rotating lock or a lever lock depending on the model. In practical use, the series is aimed at shooters who value the clean handling of a pivot mount, straightforward optic removal when needed, and a configuration tailored to both the rifle and the sighting system.

About the MAKflex One-Piece Pivot Mount for EAW Base Plates, 30 mm

The MAKflex One-Piece Pivot Mount for EAW Base Plates, 30 mm is designed for shooters who want a classic pivot-mount layout combined with the simplicity of a one-piece ring bridge. By joining both rings in one body, the mount supports consistent ring alignment and gives the riflescope a stable platform, which is especially useful when fitting a 30 mm hunting optic that needs dependable positioning on the rifle.

This version is made specifically for EAW type pivot bases, so it suits rifles already equipped for that mounting standard. That compatibility is important in practice because it allows the user to keep the existing base arrangement while adding a modern 30 mm scope mount. The 30 mm ring format matches a wide range of riflescopes used for driven hunting, stalking, and general sporting use, making the mount a versatile option within a traditional pivot system.

The body is made from aluminium, balancing strength with moderate weight for a rifle that still handles naturally in the field. With its stated KR 0.0 mm extension, this model is configured for a neutral mounting position rather than pushing the optic forward or rearward, which can be useful when the rifle and scope already provide the correct eye-relief relationship. Overall, this MAKflex mount is a practical solution for shooters who want a German-made one-piece pivot mount for a 30 mm riflescope on EAW-style bases.
