Levenhuk Sherman PLUS 12x50

• 12x magnification for long-range detail: The higher-power view helps pick out distant wildlife, landmarks, or activity across open ground, making this model well suited to observation where reach matters more than a very wide view.
• 50 mm objective lenses: Large front lenses gather more light than compact binoculars, giving a brighter image at dawn, dusk, and in overcast conditions when contrast is harder to maintain.
• Porro prism design with fully multi-coated optics: This classic layout supports strong depth perception and a bright, high-contrast image, while the coatings help preserve light transmission and natural color.
• Nitrogen-filled waterproof housing: The sealed body resists moisture and internal fogging, so the binoculars remain dependable when moving between temperatures or using them in wet weather.
• Central focus with right-eye diopter adjustment: Fast focusing and individual eyesight compensation make it easier to achieve a sharp image quickly, especially during changing field conditions.

About the Levenhuk Sherman Plus Series

Levenhuk Sherman Plus sits in the more advanced part of the Sherman binocular family and is designed for users who want a traditional full-size binocular with more refined optics and weather protection. The series is aimed at travelers, wildlife observers, and active outdoor users, combining a classic Porro-prism layout with features that support regular field use rather than occasional casual viewing.

Across the range, Porro prisms are paired with fully multi-coated BaK-4 glass optics and four-element eyepieces, a combination chosen to deliver a bright, well-defined image with solid depth perception. The series also emphasizes practical durability: the binoculars use waterproof, nitrogen-filled bodies to reduce internal fogging and keep the optics protected in changing weather. A light-gray rubber-armored exterior improves grip and handling in the field. With variants from 6.5x32 up to 12x50, the Sherman Plus line covers everything from more portable daytime observation to higher-magnification long-range viewing.

About the Levenhuk Sherman PLUS 12x50

Levenhuk Sherman PLUS 12x50 is the longest-reaching standard model in the Sherman Plus range, built for users who need more detail at distance. Its 12x magnification makes it easier to study wildlife on open terrain, scan coastlines, follow activity on hillsides, or observe distant targets where lower-power binoculars show less structure. The 50.00 mm objective lenses help offset the demands of higher magnification by gathering enough light for a bright, usable image in mixed daylight and lower-light conditions.

The binocular uses a Porro prism optical system with fully multicoated lenses, a combination that supports good contrast, natural color, and the spacious image character many users prefer in full-size binoculars. A 4.17 mm exit pupil balances image brightness with magnification, while the 14.00 mm eye relief and adjustable eyecups make the binocular more accommodating during longer sessions, including for many eyeglass wearers. The 98.18 m/1000m field of view is focused more on detail than panoramic scanning, which suits deliberate long-range observation.

In use, the binocular is set up for practical adjustment and durability. Central focusing allows quick refinement as distances change, and the -6 / +6 diopter adjustment on the right eyepiece helps match the view to the user’s eyesight. The body is waterproof, fogproof, and nitrogen filled, so it is better prepared for rain, humidity, and temperature changes. At 915.00 g, it has the stable, planted feel expected from a full-size 12x50 binocular, which can be an advantage when observing from a fixed position for extended periods.
