Leupold RM CZ 550, 30mm

• Solid steel construction: The one-piece ringmount design is machined from steel for a rigid connection between rifle and scope, helping the optic stay aligned under recoil and repeated field use.
• CZ 550-specific fit: Built for the CZ 550 platform and related 19 mm dovetail actions, this mount gives a direct, model-matched interface instead of relying on a more generic mounting solution.
• 30 mm scope compatibility: The rings are sized for 30 mm maintubes, making them suitable for many modern hunting optics that use larger tubes for added adjustment range and robust internals.
• Ringmount format: By combining the mounting interface and rings in one unit, the design keeps the setup straightforward and reduces extra parts that can complicate installation.
• 0 MOA alignment: With no built-in cant, the mount keeps the scope in a neutral position that suits general hunting and sporting rifle setups at conventional distances.

About the Leupold RM Rings Series

Leupold RM Rings are a steel ringmount family developed as a direct-fit alternative to factory-supplied mounting solutions on specific rifle platforms. In the lineup, they sit as a practical option for shooters who want a mount tailored to a particular action rather than a more universal base-and-ring combination. The series is built around solid steel construction, which gives the mounts the stiffness and repeatability expected on hunting rifles and traditional sporting setups.

Within the range, Leupold offered 1-inch and 30 mm versions, along with several height options including low, medium, high, and super high. That makes the series flexible enough to accommodate different scope tube sizes and objective bell clearances while keeping the mounting system simple. RM ringmounts were also offered in finishes such as gloss, matte, and silver, allowing them to match both classic blued rifles and more modern matte hunting optics. The design philosophy is straightforward: a model-specific fit, durable materials, and a clean installation for shooters who value a secure scope-to-rifle connection.

About the Leupold RM CZ 550, 30mm

The Leupold RM CZ 550, 30mm is a rifle-specific steel ringmount made for shooters using a 30 mm riflescope on a CZ 550-pattern action and related 19 mm dovetail rifles. Its main advantage is fit: instead of building a mounting stack from separate bases and rings, this model provides a direct interface designed around the rifle family it serves. That approach helps keep the installation tidy and mechanically consistent, which matters when the mount is the critical link between the optic and the firearm.

The use of steel construction is especially relevant on hunting rifles and hard-used sporting setups, where the mount must resist movement from recoil, transport, and repeated handling. A rigid mount helps preserve zero and supports long-term reliability, particularly when paired with heavier 30 mm scope bodies. The 0 MOA configuration keeps the optic level in a neutral position, which suits general-purpose hunting and field shooting where an angled base is unnecessary.

Because this ringmount is intended for the CZ 550 Standard, CZ 550 Magnum, CZ 557 SA, and CZ 557 LA, as well as several BRNO actions with the same style of dovetail, it is well suited to shooters who want a mount matched to classic Central European rifle platforms. The result is a practical mounting solution that prioritizes secure fit, straightforward scope installation, and the durability expected from a steel hunting-optics mount.

About Leupold

Leupold & Volpel was founded in 1907 in Portland, Oregon, by Fred Leupold and Adam Volpel. The company later became Leupold & Stevens, Inc. and is headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon. It remains family-owned and focuses on sport optics for hunting, shooting, and outdoor use.

Leupold is particularly well known for riflescopes, including the VX-series for sporting use and the Mark-series for tactical applications, but its catalog also includes red dot sights, binoculars, spotting scopes, rangefinders, and thermal optics. The company introduced its first riflescope, the Plainsman, in 1947, and later introduced the Duplex reticle in 1962. That long involvement in riflescopes and mounting systems is directly relevant here, because the same emphasis on dependable field use carries over into Leupold’s steel ringmount products.
