Leica Geovid Max 10x42

• Long-Range Laser Rangefinder: Ranges trees up to 4,200 m, deer up to 2,650 m and retro-reflective targets up to 7,500 m, with a measuring time of just 0.3 seconds, so you get a reliable distance reading even when game is only visible for a moment.
• Applied Ballistics Professional®: Integrated ballistic software converts each measured distance into an elevation and windage correction, using onboard sensors for air pressure, temperature and inclination, so you can make long shots without separate calculations.
• Active Matrix microLED Display: A bright 640 × 480 pixel display shows distance, shot correction, wind and compass data clearly in the field of view, and can be individually configured to show only the information you need.
• Shot Probability Analysis: Calculates the expected hit probability and displays it as a percentage, helping you judge the limits of your rifle, ammunition and conditions for a responsible shot decision.

ABOUT THE MODEL (LEICA GEOVID MAX 10X42)

The Leica Geovid Max 10x42 is the high-end model in the Leica Geovid family of rangefinding binoculars, combining high-performance optics, a long-range laser rangefinder, integrated ballistics and terrain navigation in one device. It is designed for open terrain, demanding mountain hunts and precise shooting at long distances, and is instantly recognisable by its distinctive Flat Dark Earth colour.

The 10x magnification enables reliable target identification at longer distances, while the field of view of 113 m at 1,000 m makes it easier to locate game quickly and keep an overview of the terrain. The Perger-Porro prism system and HDC® multilayer coating deliver a light transmission of 90%, and a specially tuned baffle system reduces stray light to maintain high contrast in difficult lighting. With an exit pupil of 4.2 mm and a twilight factor of 20.5, the result is a bright, high-contrast and colour-neutral image with high detail resolution. An eye relief of 16 mm and detachable eyecups with 4 click-stops make the binocular suitable for eyeglass wearers.

The laser rangefinder covers distances from 10 m up to 4,200 m on trees and up to 7,500 m on retro-reflective targets. Accuracy is ±0.5 m up to 183 m and ±1.0 m up to 915 m. Three target modes (First, Last and Best) help select the correct target, for example when branches or grass are in front of the animal. In addition to single measurements, a scanning mode and an extended mode for very long distances are available.

The measured distance is processed immediately by Applied Ballistics Professional®, which accounts for factors such as Coriolis effect, spin drift, AB Custom Drag Models and Sight Scale Factor. The correction can be output as an equivalent horizontal range (EHR), a click value, holdover or unit correction, with on-board wind correction also available. All data appears on the Active Matrix microLED display, which remains legible in bright sunlight as well as at dusk.

Via Bluetooth® and the Leica Ballistics App, you can manage personal ballistic profiles, select from an extensive factory ammunition database or store custom loads, configure the display layout and operate the binocular remotely. The Geovid Max also connects to Kestrel® and Garmin® devices and supports BaseMap® and the Leica ProTrack (LPT™) GPS guide, while the integrated compass supports precise terrain navigation.

The nitrogen-filled magnesium housing is waterproof to a depth of 5 m and built for reliable use in rain, cold, dust and severe temperature fluctuations, while the dirt- and water-repellent AquaDura® coating keeps the outer lenses clear in wet weather.
