Konus Sporty 10x50

• 10x50 configuration: The 10x magnification brings distant detail closer while the 50 mm objective lenses gather enough light for brighter viewing at dawn, dusk, and in overcast conditions.
• Fixed-focus design: The Sporty series stays ready for action from roughly 20 m to infinity, making it especially practical for sports, wildlife movement, and other fast-changing scenes where there is no time to refocus.
• Wide-angle view: A 96.00 m/1000m field of view helps track moving subjects more easily and gives a more open image when scanning landscapes or following activity across a broad area.
• Roof prism construction: The Schmidt/Pechan roof prism layout keeps the binoculars slimmer and easier to carry than many traditional porro designs, which is useful for travel and general outdoor use.
• Rubber-armored, weather-resistant body: The rubber exterior improves grip, while the waterproof and fogproof construction adds reassurance when conditions turn damp, cold, or change quickly in the field.

About the Sporty Series

Konus Sporty binoculars sit in the brand’s classic, value-oriented outdoor range and are built around a simple idea: quick viewing with minimal adjustment. This series is aimed at users who want an easy binocular for sporting events, general outdoor observation, and fast-moving subjects rather than a highly technical instrument with multiple controls. A defining characteristic of the line is its fixed-focus concept, which is designed to keep subjects sharp from a set distance onward without constant refocusing.

Within the range, Konus combines practical handling with straightforward optical features such as coated lenses, rubber armoring, and models tailored either for wider viewing or more general use. The series is intended for people who value speed and convenience: keeping the binoculars ready in a bag, lifting them to the eyes, and following the scene immediately. That makes the Sporty family particularly suitable for outdoor leisure, travel, and events where the subject does not stay still for long. The design philosophy is simple and functional, with an emphasis on ease of use, portable full-size optics, and a viewing experience that favors responsiveness over constant manual adjustment.

About the Konus Sporty 10x50

The Konus Sporty 10x50 is the larger, wider-view model in the series, combining 10.00 x magnification with a 50.00 mm objective for a full-size binocular that balances reach and image brightness well. This format works especially well for long views across open ground, spectator use, coastal observation, and general wildlife watching where extra magnification helps reveal more distant detail. Its 5.00 mm exit pupil supports comfortable viewing in mixed light, while the 96.00 m/1000m field of view keeps the image broad enough for scanning and following movement.

What makes this model especially practical is its fixed-focus operation. Instead of requiring constant adjustment, it is designed to stay ready for subjects from about 20 m to infinity, which is useful when watching action that changes quickly. That makes it a sensible choice for sports, moving wildlife, or casual observation from a vehicle, boat, or viewpoint. The Schmidt/Pechan roof prism layout keeps the body more streamlined, and the multicoated optics help maintain usable contrast and glare control in daylight conditions.

In handling terms, the binocular remains straightforward and durable. The 770.00 g weight gives it the steadiness expected from a 10x50, while the rubber-covered body improves grip in wet or cold weather. With waterproof and fogproof construction, it is better suited to outdoor use than a basic fair-weather binocular, making it a practical all-round option for users who want a simple instrument that is always ready to observe.

About Konus

Konus was founded in 1979 in Verona, Italy, and has built its name around optics for hunting and target shooting as well as a broader selection of outdoor observation products. The company’s range includes riflescopes and outdoor optics, reflecting a long-standing focus on practical sporting use rather than purely specialist laboratory or industrial equipment.

Konus Italia Group S.p.A. is based in Settimo di Pescantina, Italy. Across its optics lines, the company has also developed features such as laser-etched reticles, showing its experience in designing products for field use where durability and clear aiming references matter. That background carries over into its outdoor binoculars, which are generally positioned as functional, accessible tools for hunting, observation, and recreational use.
