Konus Basic 12x32

• 12x magnification: brings distant details closer than lower-power compact binoculars, making it easier to study landmarks, wildlife or action from a fixed viewing point.
• 32 mm objective lenses: give this pocket binocular more light-gathering ability than ultra-compact models, helping maintain a clearer image in daylight and mixed light conditions.
• Roof prism design: keeps the Konus Basic 12x32 slim and easy to carry, so it fits better in a daypack, glove compartment or travel kit.
• Central focusing system: allows quick, simple adjustment with one control, which is practical when the viewing distance changes often.
• Giftbox packaging: makes the binocular ready for presentation or straightforward storage without needing additional packaging.

About the Konus Basic Series

The Konus Basic series sits at the accessible end of Konus’s compact binocular range, aimed at users who want a simple optical tool for travel, casual outdoor use and general observation. The series focuses on the essentials: a compact format, straightforward handling and practical magnification options, without adding specialist features that would increase size or complexity. That makes these binoculars suitable for occasional nature viewing, sightseeing, events and everyday carry.

Within the line, roof prism construction helps keep the binoculars narrow and portable, while central focusing supports fast adjustment in normal field use. Konus also equips the series with ruby coated optics and a rubber covering, combining a distinctive appearance with basic protection in handling. The Basic family is designed for buyers who prioritize portability and ease of use over advanced weather sealing or premium low-light performance. In practice, the series offers a compact binocular format that is easy to pack, quick to deploy and well suited to daylight observation where convenience matters as much as magnification.

About the Konus Basic 12x32

The Konus Basic 12x32 is the highest-magnification model in this compact series, built for users who want more reach from a binocular that still remains easy to carry. Its 12x magnification is useful for pulling distant subjects closer during travel, outdoor events or casual wildlife observation, especially when the user can pause and observe from a steady position. Compared with lower-power pocket binoculars, this configuration gives a more detailed view of faraway objects while still keeping the instrument compact.

The 32.00 mm objective lenses provide a practical balance between portability and image brightness. They gather more light than very small compact binoculars, which helps the image stay more usable in overcast daylight or shaded environments. The 2.50 mm exit pupil and 90.00 m/1000m field of view show that this model is optimized more for reach than for wide-angle scanning, making it a sensible choice when identifying distant details matters more than covering a broad scene at once.

Its Roof - Schmidt/Pechan prism design and dual hinge body help keep the binocular slim for transport, while the central focusing system makes routine adjustment quick and intuitive. This is a straightforward compact binocular rather than an all-weather field instrument, so it suits dry-condition use, sightseeing and general outdoor observation where low weight and easy storage are more important than waterproof or fogproof construction.

About Konus

Konus was founded in 1979 in Verona, Italy, and has built its name around practical optical products for outdoor and shooting use. Konus specializes in optics for hunting and target shooting, while its broader catalog also includes riflescopes and outdoor optics for general observation. This mix of sporting and field-oriented products gives the company a strong focus on usable magnification systems, straightforward controls and accessible product lines.

In the shooting optics segment, Konus developed optics with laser-etched reticles, and its riflescope families include the Konuspro M-30 and T-30. That background reflects a company with experience across both observation optics and aiming optics, from compact binoculars to more specialized sporting equipment. For binoculars such as the Basic series, Konus applies the same practical approach: functional designs, clear model segmentation and features chosen to meet common field needs without unnecessary complexity.
