Hikmicro Thunder TH25P 2.0

• 12 μm thermal sensor with <20 mK sensitivity: The 384x288 sensor picks up small temperature differences, helping the scope separate animals, cover and background detail more clearly in rain, fog, cold mornings and other difficult conditions.
• 25 mm F1.0 objective and 1200.00 m detection range: This combination gives the Hikmicro Thunder TH25P 2.0 useful reach for scanning open ground while still keeping the image bright and responsive for practical hunting use.
• 1024×768 OLED display: A high-resolution OLED screen presents thermal detail with strong contrast, making target recognition, reticle placement and prolonged observation easier on the eye.
• Compact 488.00 g housing with IP67 protection: The short, lightweight body keeps rifle handling balanced, while waterproof and fogproof construction supports dependable use in wet weather and changing temperatures.
• On-board recording and rechargeable power system: Built-in photo and video capture lets the user save observations and shots, while the replaceable Li-ion battery pack and 10.50 h runtime reduce interruptions in the field.

About the Hikmicro Thunder Series

HIKMICRO introduced the THUNDER 2.0 line on April 12, 2023 as an update to the earlier THUNDER 1.0 family, refining the company’s thermal riflescope platform for hunters and other users who need a compact dedicated thermal sight. Within HIKMICRO’s outdoor range, THUNDER 2.0 sits alongside the STELLAR thermal scope line and focuses on a more streamlined, lightweight format that is easy to mount on a wide variety of rifles.

The series uses uncooled thermal imaging sensors and OLED displays, combining practical image clarity with a form factor suited to field carry. THUNDER 2.0 models also support onboard video recording and snapshot capture, which adds useful documentation without extra accessories. Across the range, HIKMICRO includes multiple thermal image palettes and flat-field correction modes, allowing the sight picture to be tuned for terrain, weather and target contrast. The series covers several sensor and lens combinations, from more compact short- to mid-range models to versions intended for longer observation and shooting distances. That makes the THUNDER family a flexible thermal hunting optics platform rather than a single-purpose design.

About the Hikmicro Thunder TH25P 2.0

The Hikmicro Thunder TH25P 2.0 is a compact thermal riflescope built around a 384x288, 12.00 μm sensor and a 25.00 mm F 1.0 objective, a combination that suits short- to mid-range hunting where a wide view and fast target pickup matter more than high base magnification. Its native 1.53 x magnification helps preserve situational awareness, while the 10.53 ° field of view makes it easier to follow moving animals, scan woodland edges and work in tighter terrain.

A key strength of this model is its 20.00 mK NETD, which improves separation between animals and background when temperature contrast is poor. In practice, that means more visible texture and outline detail in damp weather, early morning conditions or cluttered cover. The 1024×768 OLED display supports a clean, high-contrast image, and the 50.00 Hz refresh rate keeps panning and tracking smooth enough for active field use.

The TH25P 2.0 is also designed to stay practical on the rifle. At 488.00 g and 219.00 mm long, it keeps the setup compact and manageable. The 45.00 mm eye relief supports safe, repeatable shooting positions, while the - 5.0 / + 5.0 dpt diopter range helps adapt the image to the shooter’s eyesight. With 10 reticles, onboard photo and video recording, waterproof and fogproof construction, and a 10.50 h battery life, it is configured for real hunting use rather than bench-only observation.

About Hikmicro

HIKMICRO was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Hangzhou, China. The company specializes primarily in thermal imaging, while also working with visible-light imaging, ultrasonic technology, electromagnetic technology and radar. In the outdoor optics segment, its range covers thermal monoculars, thermal scopes, thermal clip-ons, digital day-and-night scopes and multispectrum binoculars, showing a strong focus on observation and aiming systems built around electronic imaging.

Within that lineup, THUNDER and STELLAR are HIKMICRO thermal scope product lines, while LYNX, FALCON and CONDOR cover handheld thermal observation. HIKMICRO’s 2023 outdoor materials also record the release of 12 μm thermal detectors in 256×192, 384×288 and 640×512 resolutions in 2020, which helps explain the company’s emphasis on compact sensors and practical field-ready thermal devices. That background makes HIKMICRO particularly relevant in the thermal hunting optics category, where sensor performance, display quality and battery management are central to real-world use.
