HI VIZ Interchangeable Front Sight, S&W M&P Pro

• Interchangeable LitePipe system: The front sight accepts replaceable light pipes, letting the shooter tune the sight color to ambient light or personal preference for a clearer, faster front-sight focus.
• Fiber-optic front sight picture: A bright red aiming point stands out strongly in daylight, helping the eye pick up the front blade quickly during range work, competition, or defensive practice.
• Steel construction: The sight body is made from steel for a solid fit and better resistance to holster wear and repeated slide movement than softer materials.
• Fixed front sight design: A non-adjustable setup keeps the installation simple and maintains a consistent sight picture, making it well suited to shooters who want a durable front-sight upgrade without added complexity.
• Built for S&W M&P Pro pistols: This model is configured specifically for S&W M&P Pro with fixed sights, giving owners a dedicated front-sight option rather than a generic fit.

About the Hi Viz Interchangeable Sight Series

The Hi Viz Interchangeable Sight series sits within the company’s Original Sights range and focuses on a simple idea: a durable sight body paired with interchangeable LitePipes. Rather than locking the shooter into one permanent sight color, these models allow the light pipe to be removed, replaced, and reused, so the sight picture can be adapted to changing light conditions or individual preference. That makes the series especially relevant for competitive shooters and everyday handgun users who want a brighter front reference without moving to a more complex sight system.

Within the range, HIVIZ offers platform-specific versions for popular pistols such as Colt 1911, FN FNS and FNX, Glock, and Smith & Wesson models. The series is defined less by one universal shape than by its practical approach to visibility: a compact steel sight body, a fiber-optic aiming point, and the flexibility to change colors when conditions call for it. Depending on the model, LitePipes may be available in red, green, white, or black, giving the series a useful balance of speed, customization, and straightforward maintenance.

About the HI VIZ Interchangeable Front Sight, S&W M&P Pro

The HI VIZ Interchangeable Front Sight, S&W M&P Pro is a dedicated fiber-optic front sight for shooters who want a faster, more visible aiming reference on an M&P Pro pistol with fixed sights. Its main advantage is not mechanical adjustment, but visual clarity: the bright red front dot draws the eye naturally, helping the shooter establish front-sight focus more quickly during target transitions, practice drills, or general handgun use in daylight.

The interchangeable design adds useful flexibility. Instead of treating the sight as a fixed-color component, the LitePipe system allows the front element to be changed when a different contrast works better against the target or in different lighting. That makes the sight more adaptable than a conventional plain black blade while keeping the overall setup simple. Because this is a fixed steel front sight, it also suits shooters who prefer a robust, low-complication configuration with no extra controls or adjustment points to manage on the pistol.

For M&P Pro owners, the model-specific fit is an important part of its appeal. This sight is intended for S&W M&P Pro pistols with fixed sights, giving the user a purpose-built upgrade that improves front-sight visibility while preserving the familiar handling and sighting style of the handgun. The result is a practical handgun sight upgrade centered on speed, contrast, and day-to-day durability.

About HiViz

HiViz began in 1996 with a single shooting-related product and grew into a specialist maker of sights and accessories for handguns, shotguns, and rifles. The company is based in Laramie, Wyoming, United States, and is best known for building highly visible aiming systems that combine practical field use with straightforward installation. Its product range includes fiber-optic sights, tritium-equipped models, recoil pads, and related shooting accessories.

A defining part of the brand’s identity is its work with removable LitePipes, which allow shooters to replace and reuse fiber-optic elements instead of treating them as fixed inserts. HiViz has also developed product families such as LiteWave, TriViz, and CompSight, each aimed at different firearm platforms and sighting needs. Across these lines, the company has built a reputation for practical visibility upgrades that help shooters acquire the sight picture faster without changing the basic handling of the firearm.
