HI VIZ Interchangeable Front Sight, Henry Rifles

• Interchangeable LitePipes: The front sight uses replaceable fiber-optic LitePipes, so the sight picture can be tuned for different light conditions or personal preference without changing the whole sight.
• LiteWave front design: The LITEWAVE structure exposes more of the fiber to ambient light while protecting it with a steel exoskeleton, helping the front dot stay easy to pick up in the field.
• Fixed front sight setup: A fixed front sight keeps the system simple and durable, making it well suited to lever-action rifles used for hunting, plinking, and general field carry.
• Steel construction: The steel body gives the sight the strength needed for regular use on a working rifle, with better resistance to knocks and handling wear than softer materials.
• Made for Henry rifles: This model is built specifically for compatible Henry rifles, giving owners a brighter front aiming reference without moving to a scope or more complex sighting system.

About the Hi Viz LITEWAVE Series

The Hi Viz LITEWAVE series was introduced in November 2014 and is built around a simple idea: make iron sights faster to see by combining protected sight bodies with bright, replaceable fiber-optic elements. A defining feature of the series is its use of interchangeable LitePipes, which let shooters change sight colors to suit background, lighting, or preference. That flexibility makes the series useful across a wide range of roles, from recreational shooting and hunting optics setups to competition and training use.

The series is also known for its diagonal-wave exoskeleton design, which leaves more of the LitePipe exposed to ambient light while helping shield it from impact. In practice, that means a brighter aiming point without giving up the durability expected from a field sight. The LITEWAVE line includes both handgun and rifle-sight variants, with front and rear configurations available, and it remains a current part of the HiViz catalog. Across the range, the emphasis stays the same: a clear, high-visibility sight picture, straightforward handling, and a design that works well for daytime shooting and changing outdoor conditions.

About the HI VIZ Interchangeable Front Sight, Henry Rifles

The HI VIZ Interchangeable Front Sight, Henry Rifles is a dedicated fiber-optic front sight for shooters who want a more visible aiming point on a compatible Henry lever-action rifle. Instead of relying on a plain black front blade that can disappear against dark targets or shaded backgrounds, this sight presents a bright front reference that is easier to acquire quickly. That is especially useful for rimfire hunting, informal range use, and fast shots on small targets where front-sight visibility matters more than complex adjustment features.

Because this model belongs to the LITEWAVE family, it benefits from the series’ protective exoskeleton concept and interchangeable LitePipe system. The exposed fiber gathers ambient light to create a clear front dot, while the steel housing helps protect the sight during normal field handling. The interchangeable setup also adds practical flexibility: a shooter can select the sight color that stands out best in bright sun, overcast light, or wooded terrain. With its fixed sight adjustment, the design stays simple and robust, which suits a rifle that may be carried often and used in varied outdoor conditions.

This model uses a green front sight in a black steel body and follows a straightforward iron-sight approach rather than adding bulk or electronic components. At only 10.00 g, it keeps the rifle light and handy while delivering a more visible front sight picture for practical field shooting.

About HiViz

HiViz began in 1996 with a single shooting-related product and grew into a specialist maker of sights and accessories for firearms. Based in Laramie, Wyoming, United States, the company focuses on products for handguns, shotguns, and rifles, with a range that includes fiber-optic sights, tritium sights, recoil pads, and related shooting accessories. A core part of the brand’s identity is its LitePipe system, which uses removable and reusable fiber-optic elements to give shooters a brighter sight picture and the option to change colors when needed.

HiViz is particularly well known for practical sight designs that improve visibility without making firearms complicated to use. Its product families include lines such as TriViz, CompSight, and LITEWAVE, and the company has applied the same focus on fast sight acquisition across hunting, recreational, and defensive applications.
