GRS 0.5" Limbsaver Airtech Recoil Pad for GRS Sporter/Fenris/Loke

• AirTech recoil reduction: The Limbsaver AirTech design helps soften felt recoil, making heavier calibers more manageable and reducing fatigue during long hunting or range sessions.
• 0.5 in (12.5 mm) pad thickness: This slimmer pad preserves a more compact stock length while still adding cushioning, which is useful when maintaining a familiar rifle fit matters.
• Made for GRS Sporter, Fenris and Loke: Model-specific fitment keeps installation straightforward and maintains the stock’s intended lines and shoulder contact.
• Quick screw-on installation: The pad installs in minutes with two or six screws depending on the GRS model, making replacement simple after wear or damage.
• Rubber construction: The rubber build provides a secure shoulder purchase and helps keep the rifle planted during recoil, especially in field positions or from the bench.

About the GRS Accessories Series

GRS Accessories is the support range built around the company’s rifle stocks and chassis, covering the practical add-ons that refine fit, handling and shooting stability. In the current catalogue, the series includes bipods, Arca rails, spigots, Picatinny adapters, shooting bags, recoil pads and stock-mounting hardware, giving shooters a way to tailor a rifle to hunting, target work or positional shooting without changing the core stock system.

The series is shaped by the same thinking seen across GRS rifle furniture: modularity, compatibility and field use. Some accessories focus on mounting support equipment, while others improve contact points between rifle and shooter. Recoil pads are a good example, because they influence both comfort and stock fit. Within the range, these parts are intended to work with compatible GRS models rather than as generic add-ons, which helps preserve the ergonomics and handling characteristics that GRS stocks are known for. For shooters building out a practical rifle setup, GRS Accessories serves as the finishing layer that adapts the rifle to real use.

About the GRS 0.5" Limbsaver Airtech Recoil Pad for GRS Sporter/Fenris/Loke

The GRS 0.5" Limbsaver Airtech Recoil Pad is a replacement recoil pad made for GRS Sporter, Fenris and Loke stocks. Its main job is simple but important: it restores the rifle’s rear contact point with a pad designed to absorb recoil, keep the butt stable on the shoulder and maintain the handling the stock was built around. For hunting rifles and general-purpose shooting setups, that matters because recoil control is not only about comfort; it also affects how consistently the rifle mounts and how well it tracks through the shot.

With a thickness of 0.5 in (12.5 mm), this version suits shooters who want cushioning without adding as much length as a thicker pad. That can be useful when the existing length of pull already feels right, or when heavy clothing and field positions make a longer stock less practical. The rubber construction also improves grip against the shoulder, helping the rifle stay planted during fast follow-up shots or repeated bench work.

GRS specifies that the pad installs in minutes using two or six screws, depending on the stock model. In practice, that makes it a straightforward replacement part for a worn or damaged pad, while preserving the intended fit of the original stock design. For shooters using a GRS hunting or target stock, this accessory keeps the rifle comfortable, controllable and ready for regular use.

About GRS

GRS traces its history to 2010 in Grodås, Hornindal, Norway, while the family business behind it began in 1983 as Grodås Møbler AS, a furniture manufacturer. That background helps explain the company’s strong emphasis on stock shape, grip geometry and practical ergonomics. Today, GRS Riflestocks AS is headquartered in Hornindal and specializes in rifle stocks for hunting and shooting.

The company produces laminate and composite rifle stocks, as well as aluminum chassis stocks, with product lines including Hunter Light, Sporter, Bifrost, Fenris, Warg and Ragnarok. GRS is also known for its SpeedLock adjustment system, used to give shooters fast stock adjustment without tools. Across its range, the brand’s reputation is built on combining stock fit, recoil control and stable shooting support in designs intended for both field rifles and more specialized precision setups.
