Explore Scientific Teleextender 2x 31.7mm

1. Doubled Magnification: This teleextender precisely doubles the effective focal length of your telescope, allowing for higher magnification with any attached 1.25" eyepiece. It is particularly useful for detailed observations of the Moon, planets, and smaller deep-sky objects.

2. Versatile Compatibility: Engineered to accept any standard 1.25" eyepiece and fit into any 1.25" focuser or diagonal. Its universal design ensures broad compatibility with a wide range of astronomical equipment.

3. Optical Precision: Features an achromatic lens configuration that works to minimize chromatic aberration, delivering clear and well-corrected views across the field of view. The optical elements are carefully aligned to ensure optimal performance.

4. Robust Construction: Built with a sturdy metal housing for enhanced durability and longevity. The interior is blackened to reduce internal reflections and ensure maximum light transmission to the eyepiece, contributing to sharper images.

ABOUT THE Explore Scientific Teleextender 2x 31.7mm

This Explore Scientific 2x Teleextender is designed to double the effective focal length of your telescope, providing higher magnification for detailed observations, particularly of lunar and planetary features. Unlike standard barlow lenses, a teleextender is optimized to maintain optical quality over a wider field and often allows for more comfortable viewing distances. Its precise 2x magnification factor ensures consistent and accurate enlargement, making it an indispensable tool for astronomers seeking to push the limits of their telescope's magnification without sacrificing clarity. The careful optical design ensures minimal chromatic aberration and enhanced image contrast. The use of original accessories, such as this teleextender, is crucial for preserving the optimal performance and longevity of your astronomical equipment.
