EAW Ring with Windage Adjustment, 30 mm

• Windage Adjustment: The adjustable ring helps align the scope more precisely with the rifle and mount system, which is useful when fine-tuning zero and reducing the need for excessive internal scope correction.
• 30 mm Ring Diameter: Built for 30 mm scope tubes, this ring supports a wide range of modern hunting optics and tactical optics while providing a secure, correctly matched fit.
• Compatibility with Suhl Claw Scope Mounts: Designed for Suhl claw mount systems, it suits traditional rifle setups that require repeatable installation and removal with the correct mounting interface.
• Made in Germany: German manufacture reflects EAW’s emphasis on precise machining and consistent tolerances, which matters when a mount must hold alignment under repeated use.
• Grey Finish: The grey surface gives the ring a restrained technical appearance and integrates well with classic and modern rifle builds without drawing unnecessary visual attention.

About the - Series

This EAW mounting solution belongs to a product family shaped by the company’s long-standing focus on repeatable riflescope mounting for sporting and specialist rifle applications. Within EAW’s broader range, these mounts are intended for shooters who want a mechanically precise interface between rifle and optic, especially on rifles that use traditional European mounting formats. The design approach centers on solid steel construction, exact fit, and practical modularity, so individual components can be matched to the rifle, optic tube diameter, and intended use.

In use, this type of EAW mount appeals to owners of hunting rifles and classic firearms who value a clean installation and dependable return to position after removal and refitting. A key distinguishing feature in this family is the availability of adjustable mounting elements, including versions with lateral correction, which help compensate for small alignment differences in the rifle or mounting base. That makes the system especially relevant where precise scope centering and careful setup matter as much as the optic itself.

About the EAW Ring with Windage Adjustment, 30 mm

The EAW Ring with Windage Adjustment, 30 mm is a specialized mounting component for shooters who need more than a fixed ring can provide. Its defining feature is the integrated windage adjustment, which allows lateral correction at the mount. In practical terms, this helps bring the optic into better mechanical alignment with the rifle before relying on the riflescope’s internal windage adjustment. That can be valuable when setting up a traditional rifle and claw mount combination where precise fit and centered adjustment are important.

The 30 mm ring size makes this model suitable for a broad selection of modern riflescopes built on 30 mm main tubes, a common format in hunting optics. Because it is intended for Suhl Claw Scope Mounts, it fits naturally into classic European mounting systems where the optic may be removed and reinstalled as needed. In that role, the ring is not just a clamp for the scope tube; it is part of the overall precision of the mounting assembly.

Its German-made construction reflects the priorities expected from EAW components: accurate machining, stable fit, and dependable function over time. The grey finish keeps the appearance understated, which suits both traditional sporting rifles and more utilitarian builds. For shooters assembling or maintaining a claw-mounted scope setup, this ring offers a practical way to combine correct tube fit with fine lateral adjustment.

About EAW

Ernst Apel founded the company in Würzburg, Germany, in 1919, establishing the business that later became known as EAW. In 1923, Ernst Apel acquired Elektro-Dental-Werke Frankfurt and changed the EDW brand to EAW, meaning Ernst Apel Würzburg. The company developed and produced its first riflescope mounts in 1945, and since 1951, mount development and production have been its primary focus.

Today, EAW is closely associated with German-made riflescope mounts for hunting and specialist rifle applications. Its range includes pivot, slide-on or roll-off, and claw mounts, alongside thermal imaging cameras. Production moved from Würzburg to Gerbrunn in 1970, and Ernst Apel GmbH is now headquartered in Eibelstadt, Germany. This long concentration on mounting systems explains the brand’s strong reputation for precise fit and mechanically refined scope attachment solutions.
