Dorr Gear Bag ProTac

• MOLLE-compatible exterior: The bag integrates easily with modular pouches and accessories, making it practical for organizing range gear, tools, and small essentials around a setup that can change from trip to trip.
• 18.70 l storage capacity: This size gives the Dorr Gear Bag ProTac enough room for ammunition, hearing protection, maintenance items, and other shooting accessories while remaining compact enough to carry and stow easily.
• Partly lockable double zippers: The dual-zip opening makes access faster when loading or unloading, while the partly lockable design adds a useful layer of security during transport or storage.
• Five-pocket layout: Multiple pockets help separate frequently used items from bulkier equipment, so smaller accessories are easier to find and less likely to shift around inside the main compartment.
• Carry handle and shoulder strap: The combination of hand carry and shoulder carry options makes the bag easier to move between vehicle, bench, and storage area, especially when it is fully loaded.

About the ProTac Series

The DÖRR ProTac series is built around practical transport solutions for hunters and shooters who need durable bags with a more tactical layout than a standard field case. Within the DÖRR range, the series focuses on robust construction, modular storage, and straightforward handling for use at the range, in the vehicle, or during general gear transport. Rather than emphasizing decorative styling, ProTac products are designed around usable space, secure closures, and adaptable external attachment points.

A defining characteristic of the series is its use of MOLLE-compatible panels, lockable zipper arrangements on relevant models, and layouts that support organized packing of accessories and equipment. The line includes rifle bags, backpacks, and gear bags, so the design language stays consistent across different carrying formats. In practice, that means a ProTac bag is intended to keep equipment protected, separated, and easy to access, with an emphasis on rugged fabrics, field-oriented details, and carrying comfort suited to repeated transport.

About the Dorr Gear Bag ProTac

The Dorr Gear Bag ProTac is a compact range bag designed for transporting shooting accessories and general field equipment in a more organized way than a simple duffel. Its 18.70 l volume and internal dimensions of 390.00 x 200.00 x 240.00 mm give it enough usable space for ear and eye protection, ammunition boxes, cleaning gear, tools, and other essentials that need to stay together for a day at the range. The five-pocket layout helps divide smaller accessories from the main load, reducing clutter and making frequently used items easier to reach.

The bag uses an outer shell of 100% Polyester, chosen for everyday durability and resistance to wear from repeated loading, unloading, and transport. A carry handle and shoulder strap give flexibility when moving heavier gear, while the partly lockable double zipper improves access and adds a practical security benefit. The magnetic corner detail is useful when opening and handling the bag around benches or vehicle compartments, helping the opening stay manageable while packing or unpacking. MOLLE compatibility adds another layer of versatility, allowing the bag to adapt to different storage needs over time. At 1620.00 g, it remains substantial enough to feel structured without becoming overly cumbersome for regular use.

About Dorr

Dörr GmbH was founded in 1973 and is based in Neu-Ulm, Bavaria, Germany. The company developed as an international importer and exporter and today offers products both under its own DÖRR brand and from other brands in its distribution portfolio. This broad market role has given DÖRR experience across several outdoor and imaging-related product categories rather than a single narrow niche.

Within optics and field equipment, the company’s range includes binoculars, spotting scopes, and telescopes, and it also markets optical products under the Danubia name. That background is relevant to products such as the ProTac series, where practical outdoor use, transport, and equipment handling matter as much as appearance. DÖRR is known for functional designs that serve hunters, shooters, and outdoor users who need dependable gear for regular field use.
