Dali RS150-384 Thermal Riflescope Product description

  • 384x288 thermal sensor: The uncooled FPA detector gives this thermal riflescope enough detail for reliable target recognition while keeping the system simpler and more power-efficient for regular field use.
  • 50 mm objective and 3300.00 m detection range: The larger front lens helps the scope gather more thermal information at distance, which is useful when scanning open ground and identifying heat sources earlier.
  • 1280x960 OLED display: A high-resolution OLED screen presents the thermal image with good contrast and a clean viewing experience, helping the shooter read detail more comfortably during extended observation.
  • Built-in photo, video and WiFi: Recording and wireless connectivity make it easier to document sightings, review shots and share footage without adding external accessories.
  • Rechargeable battery with USB-C charging: More than one charging option and up to 7.00 h of runtime make the scope easier to manage on longer outings or from a vehicle and power bank.

About the Dali RS Series

The Dali RS series is a family of thermal riflescopes built around practical hunting and observation use, with configurations that balance detector resolution, lens size and field performance. In the official lineup, the series includes models with 384x288 or 640x480 detectors and either 35 mm or 50 mm lenses, allowing users to choose between a wider view or stronger reach depending on terrain and expected engagement distance.

Across the series, Dali uses uncooled focal-plane-array detectors with 17 μm pixel pitch and a 50 Hz refresh rate, giving the image a fluid appearance when tracking moving animals or scanning from a rest. The platform also adds practical digital features rather than treating thermal imaging as a stand-alone optic: WiFi, built-in recording, 32 GB of internal storage and USB-C support are part of the concept. RS models also support black-hot and white-hot palettes, hotspot tracking and multiple digital zoom steps, making the series suitable for users who want a thermal hunting optic that combines straightforward controls with modern recording and connectivity functions.

About the Dali RS150-384 Thermal Riflescope

The Dali RS150-384 Thermal Riflescope is the longer-range configuration within this format, pairing a 384x288 thermal sensor with a 50.00 mm objective lens and a stated 3300.00 m detection range. That combination makes it well suited to open-country hunting, field-edge observation and other situations where early heat detection matters more than a very wide viewing angle. Its fixed 10.00 x magnification favors users who already know the distances and target sizes they expect, giving a more observation-oriented image scale without the added complexity of an optical zoom system.

The thermal core uses 17.00 μm pixel pitch, 60.00 mK NETD and a 50.00 Hz refresh rate. In practice, that means stable motion rendering and enough thermal sensitivity for routine detection and tracking tasks, while the 7.50 ° field of view still leaves enough width for scanning lanes, tracks and feeding areas. The 1280x960 OLED display helps present the thermal image with strong contrast, which is important when observing for longer periods through a riflescope-style eyepiece.

This model also integrates the features many users now expect in a thermal hunting optic: photo capture and video recording, WiFi connectivity, and a rechargeable battery with USB-C support. With up to 7.00 h of battery life plus waterproof and fogproof construction, the RS150-384 is designed as a field-ready thermal riflescope for regular night use rather than occasional spotting alone.

About Dali

Dali traces its origins to the Zhejiang Provincial Testing Technology Research Institute, established in 1984. The company is based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China and developed from a research and engineering background into a manufacturer focused on infrared and optoelectronic systems. It was restructured in 2001 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in February 2008.

In this product category, Dali is known for work in uncooled focal-plane-array detectors, thermal-imaging cameras and related infrared core technologies. Its activities extend from core components to complete thermal-imaging systems, and its outdoor range includes thermal monoculars, riflescopes and binoculars. The IRtech name used on many of its thermal products identifies a professional thermal-imaging brand that originates from Dali, linking the company’s detector expertise with finished field optics.

How to shoot Dali rs150 384
Hvordan skyter man inn Dali rs150 384

by Morten

Dear Sir!

How to Sight In (Zero) the Dali RS150 384 Thermal Riflescope

The Dali RS150 384 is a thermal riflescope from the RS1 series, and while its user manual focuses more on general setup and image calibration, zeroing (aligning the reticle with your point of impact) follows standard thermal scope procedures. This involves shooting at a thermal-visible target and adjusting the reticle via the scope's menu. Below is a step-by-step guide based on the Dali RS1 manual and general best practices for thermal scopes. Perform this in a safe, controlled environment.

Preparation

  1. Mount the Scope Securely: Attach the Dali RS150 384 to your firearm using the appropriate rings or mount. Ensure it's level and the eye relief is comfortable (typically 50-100mm for this model). Tighten everything to avoid shifts during recoil.
  2. Charge and Power On: Fully charge the internal battery. Long-press the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the scope. Adjust display brightness and contrast for clear visibility.
  3. Set Up a Thermal Target: Unlike optical scopes, you need a heat-emitting target visible in thermal (e.g., a black-painted metal plate with electrical tape, a hand warmer, or a frozen item for contrast). Place it at your desired zero distance (e.g., 50-100 yards for hunting). Zero during the day if possible, as thermal contrast is better with ambient heat differences.

Zeroing Process

  1. Access the Zeroing Menu: Press and hold the menu knob for 2 seconds to open the main menu. Rotate the knob to select "Cursor Adjustment" (this controls the reticle/crosshair position) and short-press to enter.
  2. Select Mode and Initial Shot: Choose a mode like "Standard" or "Ranging" if needed, then short-press to confirm. Aim at the center of your thermal target and fire 1-3 shots from a stable rest (e.g., bipod). Note the point of impact (POI) relative to your aim point via the scope or a spotter.
  3. Adjust the Reticle: In the Cursor Adjustment menu, rotate the knob to highlight the "X" (horizontal) or "Y" (vertical) coordinate. Short-press to select, then rotate to adjust the value (e.g., move the reticle toward the POI—typically 1 click = 1/4 MOA or similar; check your manual for exact values). Short-press to confirm each adjustment. Repeat for the other axis.
  4. Fire and Fine-Tune: Take another shot and repeat adjustments until the reticle aligns with the POI (aim on reticle = bullet hits there). For precision, use the "one-shot zero" method if supported: Fire one shot, then use the menu to digitally shift the reticle to the exact hole.
  5. Save and Verify: Save the zero profile in the scope's settings (if available under "System Settings"). Fire 3-5 confirmation shots at the same distance to ensure consistency. Test at different ranges if needed.

Tips for Success

  • Start close (25-50 yards) to avoid excessive adjustments, then move back.
  • Use consistent ammo and hold;
  • The RS150 384 has a 384x288 resolution, so adjustments are in pixel-based coordinates—expect 3-5 rounds total for a good zero.
