Crimson Trace LG-185 Lasergrips

• Instinctive Activation: The front activation pad turns the laser on as the revolver is gripped normally, so the sight is ready without adding a separate step during a fast presentation.
• Grip-integrated laser design: The laser is built into a replacement grip, keeping the profile smooth and snag-free for concealed carry or defensive use while preserving a natural handling feel.
• User-adjustable windage and elevation: Precise adjustment lets the laser be matched to the revolver and chosen load, helping maintain a clear point of aim at practical defensive distances.
• Hard polymer construction: The polymer grip surface provides a durable, low-maintenance housing with a smooth exterior that supports a prompt draw and everyday carry use.
• Red Class 3R aiming laser: The 633.00 nm red laser offers a clear visual reference for rapid target indexing, especially in low light or from unconventional shooting positions.

About the Lasergrips Series

Crimson Trace Lasergrips are designed as grip-replacement laser sights that integrate aiming assistance directly into the handgun rather than adding bulk to the rail or trigger guard. Within the company’s lineup, the series is aimed at shooters who want a clean, model-specific fit for defensive handguns and carry revolvers, with controls placed where they can be used naturally under stress. A defining feature of the family is Instinctive Activation, which places the pressure pad so the laser engages with a normal firing grip instead of requiring a separate button press.

Across the series, the emphasis is on practical handling: a compact external shape, secure fit to specific firearm frames, and user-adjustable windage and elevation so the laser can be aligned to the handgun. Depending on the model, Lasergrips are offered for popular revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, with variations in materials, grip shape and laser color. The series is especially well suited to shooters who want faster sight indexing in low light, from retention, or from awkward positions where iron sights are harder to acquire. In that role, Lasergrips combine a familiar grip shape with a built-in aiming reference that supports fast, close-range handgun use.

About the Crimson Trace LG-185 Lasergrips

The Crimson Trace LG-185 Lasergrips are built for Taurus small-frame revolvers and focus on the needs of defensive carry rather than range-only use. Because the laser is integrated into a grip replacement, the revolver keeps a streamlined profile that draws cleanly from concealment and avoids the added width often associated with external accessories. The hard polymer surface gives the grip a smooth, durable exterior that suits regular carry and resists snagging on clothing during the draw.

The key operating advantage is front-located Instinctive Activation. With the activation pad positioned on the front of the grip, the laser engages as the revolver is held in a normal firing grip, which helps reduce delay when the handgun is brought on target. For close-range defensive shooting, that means the sighting aid is available immediately without changing hand position or searching for a switch. The unit also includes adjustable windage and elevation, allowing the point of aim to be tuned to the revolver for dependable alignment.

The red 633.00 nm Class 3R laser with a 0.50 MOA dot size is intended for rapid visual indexing at practical handgun distances. In low light, from compromised positions, or when the shooter cannot achieve a full sight picture, the laser provides an additional aiming reference that complements the revolver’s fixed sights. With a stated battery life of 2.00 h and an integrated on/off switch, the LG-185 remains a straightforward handgun laser sight for shooters who want a compact, grip-based solution.
