Conotech Talon R25 Product description

  • 384x288 VOx sensor with 12 μm pixels: delivers a clear thermal image in a compact format, helping the scope pick out heat sources cleanly while keeping the device light and easy to mount on a hunting rifle.
  • NETD 30.00 mK sensitivity: improves the ability to separate small temperature differences, which matters when game, background and vegetation are close in temperature in damp, cold or otherwise difficult conditions.
  • 1024×768 OLED display: gives the image a crisp, high-contrast presentation inside the eyepiece, making observation more comfortable and helping target detail remain easier to interpret during longer sessions.
  • Built-in photo, video and WiFi functions: allows observations and shots to be documented and shared without extra accessories, which is useful for reviewing outings, confirming hits or transferring footage to a mobile device.
  • Compact 440.00 g housing with IP67 protection: keeps the Talon R25 easy to carry and practical on lightweight rifle setups while adding the weather resistance needed for field use in rain, dust and changing temperatures.

About the Conotech Talon Series

The Conotech Talon series is a family of compact thermal rifle scopes built for shooters who want a dedicated thermal sight with straightforward handling and field-ready dimensions. Within the brand’s thermal lineup, the Talon models focus on the essentials: a practical thermal sensor format, an OLED display, onboard recording, and wireless connectivity in a housing that stays small enough for balanced rifle setups. That makes the series relevant for hunting optics as well as general observation and pest-control work after dark.

A typical Talon configuration combines an uncooled VOx thermal sensor with digital zoom and multiple image functions, giving the user a simple way to move from wide-area scanning to closer target assessment. The design philosophy is clearly oriented toward usability in the field: compact proportions, low weight, and controls intended for quick operation in darkness or poor weather. Rather than emphasizing excessive bulk or complicated external hardware, the Talon series centers on practical thermal imaging performance, image recording, and dependable operation across a broad temperature range.

About the Conotech Talon R25

The Conotech Talon R25 is the more compact, wider-view member of the Talon thermal riflescope range. Its 1.90 x optical magnification and 25.00 mm objective lens make it well suited to shorter and medium observation distances where fast target acquisition matters more than high base magnification. The generous 185.00 m/1000m field of view helps the shooter scan ground efficiently, follow moving animals more naturally, and maintain better awareness of the surroundings than with a narrower thermal optic.

At the core of the scope is a 384x288 thermal sensor with 12.00 μm pixel pitch, 30.00 mK sensitivity and a 50.00 Hz refresh rate. In practice, that combination supports smooth image presentation and better separation between animals and background clutter when conditions are humid, cold or otherwise thermally challenging. The 1024×768 OLED display gives the image a crisp, contrast-rich appearance in the eyepiece, while the diopter adjustment of -5 / +5 dpt helps adapt the view to the shooter’s eyesight.

The Talon R25 also adds practical digital functionality. It supports image capture, video recording, video output and Wifi, so the scope can document hunts and transfer footage without relying on external recorders. Its 150.00 mm length and 440.00 g weight keep the setup compact on the rifle, and the waterproof, fogproof, IP67-rated housing is built for use in rain, dust and changing temperatures from -20°C to +50°C. Power comes from 2xCR123 batteries, with an operating time of about 4.00 h, which suits shorter outings and lightweight field kits.
