BOG Spotting Scope Adapter

• Window and tripod versatility: This adapter works as a stable window mount and also integrates with compatible BOG tripod setups, giving a spotting scope a steadier platform for glassing from a vehicle, blind, or fixed position.
• Secure clamping design: The clamp attaches to vehicle windows, tree stands, box blind windows, and security bars up to 1” thick, helping maintain a stable view when scanning game or checking distant terrain.
• Smooth, lockable adjustment: The adjustment handle lets the head move smoothly and then lock down firmly, which makes it easier to settle the image and hold a precise viewing angle for extended observation.
• Broad mounting compatibility: With a 1 5/8" x 2" accessory plate and 3/16-24 and 1/4-20 thread bushings, the adapter fits many common spotting scope and camera-style mounting interfaces.
• Field-ready transport: The included weather resistant carry bag and Allen wrench make it easier to pack, protect, and fine-tune the adapter for regular use in hunting and outdoor observation.

About the Spotting Scope Adapter Series

BOG spotting scope and mounting accessories are built to give hunters and field observers a more stable way to use optics in places where a full tripod is not always practical. Within the brand’s lineup, these accessories sit alongside shooting supports and tripod systems, extending the same focus on steadiness and adaptable field use to spotting optics. The idea is straightforward: create mounting solutions that let a spotting scope move between different observation positions without giving up control or stability.

The Spotting Scope Adapter/ Window Mount reflects that approach with a design that supports both fixed-position viewing and integration with compatible BOG systems. Rather than being limited to one mounting style, the series emphasizes practical compatibility, using common thread standards and the brand’s Switcheroo® System where applicable. That makes these accessories useful for glassing from a truck, checking a field edge from a blind, or setting up on a tripod for longer sessions. The series is aimed at users who need a simple, durable way to support a spotting scope in changing hunting conditions.

About the BOG Spotting Scope Adapter

The BOG Spotting Scope Adapter is designed for hunters and spotters who want a steadier view than handheld observation can provide, especially when glassing from a vehicle or a fixed shelter. Its main advantage is flexibility: the adapter clamps securely to a vehicle window, but it is also built around a 2 piece design that allows the head to be used with compatible BOG tripod setups. In practice, that means one accessory can cover several common field situations without forcing a complete change of equipment.

The clamp is wide enough to attach to tree stands, box blind windows, and security bars up to 1” thick, which makes it useful well beyond a truck door. For hunters scanning open ground, checking movement at distance, or judging animals through a spotting scope, that stable support helps reduce shake and eye fatigue. The smooth adjustment handle allows the head to glide into position and then lock down securely, so the image stays settled once the viewing angle is set.

Compatibility is another practical strength. The 1 5/8" x 2" accessory plate fits many common camera-style mounts, while the 3/16-24 and 1/4-20 thread bushings broaden the range of optics and accessories it can accept. Finished in black and supplied with a weather resistant carry bag and Allen wrench, the adapter is a compact, field-oriented spotting scope accessory that focuses on stable viewing and straightforward setup.
