Athlon Talos EDC PRO

• Manual and Automatic Brightness: 10 brightness settings can be selected with the +/− buttons, or the sight can be switched to auto mode, where the 3 MOA red dot adjusts itself to the ambient light, giving full control on the range and hands-free operation in everyday carry.
• Motion Sensor and Lock Mode: After 5 minutes without movement the sight enters sleep mode to save power, while Locked Mode prevents the brightness from being changed or the sight from being switched off by accidental button presses in the holster.
• Aluminium One-Piece Chassis: The aircraft-grade aluminium housing is nitrogen purged, waterproof, fogproof and shockproof, giving a durable optic that still weighs only 0.36 oz on a carry pistol.
• RMSc Footprint and Low Deck Height: The RMSc footprint fits a wide range of compact and subcompact optics-ready pistols, and the 0.54" centre height keeps the dot close to the bore for a natural sight picture.

ABOUT THE MODEL (ATHLON TALOS EDC PRO 3 MOA)

The Athlon Talos EDC PRO 3 MOA is the upgraded version of the Talos EDC, a compact pistol red dot designed for everyday carry on compact and subcompact handguns. It keeps the small size and low weight of the original while adding user-adjustable brightness, an auto-adjust mode and an aircraft-grade aluminium one-piece chassis.

The sight uses a 3 MOA red dot at 1× magnification, a dot size that allows fast acquisition at close defensive distances while still being precise enough for aimed shots further out. With unlimited eye relief and a 22 × 16 mm window with fully multi-coated lenses, the dot is easy to find from any shooting position. Parallax is stated at less than 1 MOA.

The illumination offers 10 brightness settings, controlled with + and − buttons. Holding both buttons switches between manual and auto mode; in auto mode the sight sets the brightness according to the surrounding light. A motion sensor puts the sight to sleep after 5 minutes without movement, and Locked Mode blocks the controls so the sight cannot be dimmed or switched off accidentally. If the battery is removed without switching the sight off, illumination memory restores the previous brightness level. The CR2032 battery provides up to 50,000 hours of operation at the medium setting; it sits on the underside of the housing, so the sight is removed for a battery change and the zero should be confirmed afterwards.

Windage and elevation are set with linear adjustment screws, each offering 80 MOA of total travel. The sight mounts directly to RMSc slide cuts with the included screws or via a compatible mounting plate, with the supplied shim placed between the sight and the slide or plate.
