Ansmann Battery Tester for All Sizes

• Universal battery compatibility: This tester checks common household sizes including AAA, AA, C, D and 9V, so one compact tool covers the batteries most often used in remotes, flashlights, toys and other everyday devices.
• No battery required: The tester works without its own power supply, which means it is ready whenever needed and can be kept in a drawer, workshop or travel kit without worrying about a flat internal battery.
• Digital voltage readout: Instead of a simple good-or-bad indicator, the display shows the cell voltage in volts, making it easier to judge whether a battery still has useful charge left for low-drain or high-drain applications.
• Supports alkaline and rechargeable cells: It is designed for 1.5V alkaline batteries and 1.2V NiMH rechargeable batteries, helping separate usable cells from depleted ones and making battery rotation more efficient.
• Compact pocket format: With its small footprint and 60.00 g weight, the tester is easy to store and carry, so it suits home use, field kits and mobile service setups where quick battery checks save time.

About the Ansmann Accessories Series

The Ansmann Accessories series covers the practical side of battery use: the small tools and support items that make storage, checking and day-to-day handling easier. Within the wider ANSMANN range, this series sits alongside the company’s rechargeable batteries and chargers, focusing less on energy storage itself and more on safe, simple battery management. It is aimed at household users, hobbyists and anyone who regularly keeps different battery sizes on hand for electronics, lighting or portable devices.

The series fits naturally with ANSMANN’s broader battery expertise and with the company’s long-standing presence in battery, charging and lighting technology. In practical terms, that means accessories built around common formats and routine use rather than specialist laboratory equipment. The range is especially relevant for users of AA, AAA, C, D and 9V batteries, including both disposable and rechargeable types. The design approach is straightforward: compact dimensions, uncomplicated operation and compatibility with the battery sizes people actually use most often. For users who already rely on ANSMANN cells or chargers, the Accessories series adds the supporting tools that help keep those power sources organised, checked and ready for use.

About the Ansmann Battery Tester for All Sizes

The Ansmann Battery Tester for All Sizes is a compact battery accessory designed to answer a simple but important question quickly: whether a cell still has enough charge to remain useful. Its main advantage is broad compatibility. It is suitable for testing AAA, AA, C, D and 9V batteries, covering the formats most commonly found in household electronics, flashlights and portable equipment. Because it works with both 1.5V alkaline batteries and 1.2V NiMH rechargeable batteries, it is equally useful in homes that mix disposable and rechargeable power sources.

A practical strength of this tester is that it does not need its own battery or external power supply. That makes it dependable as a drawer tool, workshop accessory or travel item: when a battery needs checking, the tester itself is immediately ready. The digital voltage display gives a more informative reading than a basic status light, helping users decide whether a cell should be reused, reserved for lower-drain devices or removed from service altogether. This is especially useful when sorting loose batteries or diagnosing why a device is underperforming.

Its small housing and 60.00 g weight make it easy to keep close at hand, while the simple contact-based operation keeps testing fast and uncomplicated. For anyone managing mixed battery sizes, this ANSMANN battery tester is a practical way to reduce guesswork and avoid discarding usable cells too early.

About Ansmann

Ansmann was founded by Edgar Ansmann in 1991 in Assamstadt, Germany, where the company remains headquartered today. The brand is closely associated with portable power products and develops solutions across battery, charging, drive-system and lighting technology. In the consumer segment, it is especially well known for rechargeable batteries and chargers in widely used formats such as AA and AAA.

The company has also developed proprietary battery technologies, including maxE, its low self-discharge NiMH concept for rechargeable batteries. Beyond consumer products, ANSMANN has invested in technical infrastructure relevant to battery safety and compliance, including the opening of an in-house UN test center in 2012. That background is relevant for battery accessories as well: products such as testers and storage items come from a manufacturer whose core expertise is built around the practical handling, charging and use of portable energy systems.
